Scam

This is a scam. Positive reviews are fake. Firstly it ask you to place a credit card on screen to it can size itself, really? Then when you’re done it says sorry you must be doing something wrong and asks for personal info and email so they can help. The process is difficult but I had everything clamped and fixed so there was no shaking, it isn’t meant to work but rather get emails of people who need glasses so they can sell the list.

I'm so sorry to hear you have had this experience with our application. The card is used to calibrate the screen and ensure accuracy. Any standard sized card with a black magnetic strip can be used, and it does not need to have any personal information on it. This app is garbage. I’ve run through the reader prompts at least 4 times already and it never gives me my results. I’ve tried it logged into my account and still nothing - just a waste of time and effort

Doesn’t work

I tried to check my eye measurements but it kept giving me error and claiming my prescription was too strong (it isn’t) other apps worked for me

Not user friendly

It seems like it can’t scan the glasses no matter how times I try. It says it’s got it, and to hold it right there and then move the arms, and then? When it’s scanning the results after telling me to put my glasses back down? Asks if I’d like to ask for help. Hah. This seems pretty useless. Only worth it if you have a paper copy of your prescription, otherwise don’t bother.

I'm so sorry you've been having troubles with the app. A few things that we like to make sure when measuring to ensure the best results is that there is enough light in the room, that the glasses are distance only and not progressive or bifocal, and also that the strength traditionally falls within the range the reader can detect. App needs improvement

There seems to be no way to skip the scan when you first download the app. I already have an account. I should be able to just log in.

My experience with Liingo the company so far has been excellent. Customer service is top notch.
