I liked it at first, but there are way too many bugs that need to be fixed. The AI is very helpful, but after a while it gets redundant and keeps recommending the same thing over and over again. In order to stop this, it needs to be prompted with exact requests. The AI recommendations do not match the macro recommendations in the plan, so I use a different tracker altogether. The diary feature does not work when clicked on. When you adjust your preferences in the meal plan, there is a bug that only recommends breakfast smoothies and bowls when you don’t include certain ingredients. It doesn’t reload properly. I reached out to the app developers about the bug and they never responded. I lost and then gained weight the first month of using it because I was still very hungry after all of the recommendations. However, the app is growing on me although I will not use the tracker and meal planning features due to major inaccuracies. The AI photo meal log is extremely inaccurate, and when you try to edit the entry, it does not sync cv properly. The AI is great, but the app features need a ton of work and fixes. It does help you realize a healthier way of eating and the AI is extremely helpful in meal planning. The AI needs to be able to report bugs reported to the developers but is unable to. I will resubscribe if the bugs are fixed and the app improves. Hopefully it will, it has potential!

Response from developer
Hi Asinger123333, Lila’s co-founder here. This level of detail is gold. 🎉 Thank you for taking the time to tell us exactly where we let you down. I’m especially sorry that you contacted us and never received a response, that’s not okay.
Our developers have now tackled every issue you raised: Lila is less repetitive, Coach and Plan use the same nutrition targets, the diary works properly, excluded ingredients no longer collapse meal plans into smoothies and bowls, plans refresh immediately, repeated food logs are consistent, nutrition labels are read more precisely, meal edits stay synced, and Lila can now send confirmed bug reports directly to our team. ❤️
We’d genuinely love for you to try these improvements. If anything still feels inaccurate, or you have more ideas for making Lila better for you and other women navigating the same struggles— please email me directly at lila@tidalflow.ai. I read every message.
Thank you for seeing Lila’s potential and helping us make her worthy of it.
