Works fine as a stripped down version of the web interface.
ProProfs chat been used here for last 5 years. Not sure where the previous reviewer got his info from as been working ok here for ages.

Amazing App
A big round of applause for proprofs chat for building such an amazing live help software app. It’s fast, responsive, and easy to use. Has helped us a lot when it comes to providing support on the go. It also helps me monitor my agents and how many chats are they engaged in. Amazing app :)
Best app
It may sound over the top, but trust me when I say this “it is the best live chat software app in the market”. Never thought connecting with my target audience would become so easy. Really like how we can track our visitors and see where they got stuck. My agents love it and so do I.

Great app to reach website visitors instantly. No kidding, this live chat mobile app has helped my agents reach customers real fast. I mean we could even track at which page they are and initiate a chat in a matter of second. Helped us a lot to sell our products and boost CSAT. Great product!!

I must say that an iPhone screen is perhaps too small to make this work. The best way to implement this would be through a full featured iPad version. Perhaps it will come with a future update. But, for now, I'm at least happy that I can monitor our live web support account while using my iPad. In that respect it works quite well.

I am impressed by this app, because I have never seen a chat service provide a iOS app.
I love this app because I dont need my laptop all the time, even though the PC version is at a totally different level, and I love it!

Very useful indeed
Accessing web live option is truly amazing and simplest, The PC version is extraordinarily rich in customising options I would say. That’s why it’s most preferable when We go choose such kind of services on my iPhone screen.

It's great to be able to login with an iPad rather than being tied to a computer. That being said, you do give up a lot of cool features that can be accessed through the PC or Mac versions.

It’s great to see that a chat service offers an iPhone/iPad app, no we don’t have to be tied down to a computer. It has plenty of cool features, like access to custom response or send a URL to the client.

Great app after all to interact with your customers in live chat options here...don’t need to carry laptop everywhere now,my iOS device does the work
Super convenient
So happy that this chat service offers an iPhone/iPad so i chose this service over others. It's so convenient to be able to login with an iPad rather than being dependent or stuck to a computer. Yes some features are not there that can be accessed through the PC or Mac versions but the very fact that it’s so reliable and you feel free and can login is superb. Must download.

It has not worked on apple devices since June 2016 The company ProProfs have gone bust

This app is user friendly.i like the features.good chating app
Awful
The app is absolutely useless! i attempted to work on the go, got in the system, everything shows up fine and I can communicate with other employees, however as soon as I get a chat transfer to me, the system just closes, and I cannot log in for few minutes. Never got to a user chat. Useless.

2) can not run minimized
3) no notifications due to (2).
Bottom line is this software is stupid. Who is going to always run it on screen on mobile device. Of course u need to monimize it. Once minimized it dies. Waste of time and effort.
If you guys wanted to write a software for iphone and came up with this, you should better not offer iOS app at all.
Miserable app, not only the engine but the UI too - ugly looking useless app.

These include the option to access custom responses or send a URL to the client. The PC version is extraordinarily rich in customizing options, but none of this is yet available with the IOS version.

Nice app but has major bug
Cool app but screen freezes often when I'm in a chat! I have to exit then rejoin almost every time and to me that's a major problem because it becomes useless. Hopefully an update comes or I'm switching
