Seat Fiasco
I pre-booked and paid for seat 6c and was issued a boarding pass. At some point it changed and I was told I was in seat 32c due to weight restrictions. I have a connection in Munich so booked a seat at the front of the aircraft. I am confused on this weight restriction, as you don’t know how much I weigh, how does this happen?

Not Happy
Not happy with overall service of Lufthansa. I had issues with seat allocation, we purchased seat while booking tickets on MakemyTrip but while web check in it auto allocated seats. It’s mess between MakemyTrip and Lufthansa. They asked to show proof of purchase despite that eticket has purchased seat number. Food onboard also is not that great.

Seat Change…AGAIN!
Not sure what happens with Lufthansa but almost every time we have a business class seat on Schengen Area flights we get moved to the back row of business. I always try to book row 1 or 2 and usually get moved back. So, I started paying attention and it turns out that several US citizens were reassigned to seats further back than what they booked, including in economy seating. I enjoy flying Lufthansa internationally and believe they do a great job but I’m starting to think they are prejudice against Americans. Will rethink my next booking.

App just crashes whenever I tried to launch - had to check in on website - very poor
Forgets who you are
I fly Lufthansa lots but it forgets who I am and requires me to re enter my passport information every time if fly

The app mostly works fine except you can never check in which is the only reason I’d ever use this app.

I don’t think anyone that has given this app a good review has actually used it. It’s terrible. I get “unknown errors” all over the place or worse, no error at all, it just doesn’t work. When trying to rebook it takes you around in circles making you enter the booking code over and over again and once you get through that, if you’re traveling a group, it’ll only let you rebook one person!!! The only thing more useless is Lufthansa’s Service desk.

App is slow and glitchy
I tried to book online via website and through their app. Same problem: slow to update itinerary and “continue to payment” button doesn’t work!

Worse than previous versions
I have used the app for many years but it has stopped working as efficiently: My boarding pass does not appear anymore and it keeps telling me to check in. Flight updates are not showing once the flight has supposed to be landed, so no information when delayed. Disappointed as previous versions were better, which reflects the performance of the airline too I suppose

Doesn’t open
Every time I click on this app, it opens for a few seconds, and then closes. I’ve gone back to the App Store and tried to open it from the App Store. It doesn’t work.
Regarding Linda Asmiyadis( flight Staff Frank-JFK)
I have flown with many airlines over the years to JFK- New york , and I can honestly say that from the staff is Linda Asimyadis, the best flight attendant I have ever met. She was exceptionally kind, caring, and professional. Her positive attitude, genuine smile, and outstanding customer service made my flight truly unforgettable. She went above and beyond to make every passenger feel comfortable and welcome. Lufthansa is very fortunate to have someone like Linda on their team. Thank you for making this one of the best flight experiences I’ve ever had!
