This is a such a great app to explore Malvern and all the hidden walks and shortcuts. So thank you to the developer who made it for us all to use! đ
Malvern Thrills
Recently moved to the area and wanted to take up walking the Malvern Hills. Found this app and itâs perfect for our needs. Hoping to complete all the walks on the list and love that it has little snippets of information on the points of interest as you are on the walk so we are learning as we go.
Great App
First time visiting Malvern. I wish all places had apps like this as it made it so easy to find a walk that suited us. We did the 7 mile hills and valleys walk and weâd never have been able to do that without the app.

Repeatedly needing to download maps
The information and graphics are superb. I was so pleased initially. I scored this 3 because it might be me or the settings on my phone, if it wasnât me Iâd have scored it 1 because it was utterly useless on the day âšď¸.
I downloaded the map I wanted and we started on our walk, everything good for the first 10 mins. The phone screen had gone blank because I hadnât looked at it for that time. Unlocked the phone and the app had gone back to the Home Screen. Clicked on the wall we wanted again. It wanted to download again. Annoying, but okay.
Needless to say this became the theme of the walk. If I kept the phone on then everything was okay, but I couldnât possibly do that for 3 hours. For most of the walk we barely had 3G and it took well over 5 minutes to download the map. For the last quarter of the walk we had no reception at all, got lost and had to walk back via the road.
Shame because otherwise the app seemed good.

What a well written App!
Finally an App that was been well thought though with easy photos and walk through⌠also great for those of us with neurodiverse needs such as dyslexia. Whoever has written this app needs to write more for different places. Well done!

Donât use this on iPhone
Itâs hard to believe that any developer would publish an app like this â even a free one. It doesnât fit on the screen of an iPhone X: text is truncated on the right and buttons are inaccessible. The notch obscures screen elements. You canât even pinch to shrink the page so you can see the whole thing. Avoid

So disappointed!
This should be a brilliant app. But I hated it once I started using it for one reason. I used it to get to the start point in the south when driving there for an end-to-end walk. I used the postcode on the app & the given names, & (very limited) directions so that I could park up & set off. When arriving at the postcode supplied by the app, there was no car park. Just an empty private field. Nor was the house there, opposite as suggested. And the building names given by the app were also completely different or non-existent. I ended up driving around for 40 minutes trying to find somewhere to park because the postcode & directions were incorrect. It was simply so irritating that I have now deleted it.

Lovely walking app
Downloaded for my first foray to Malvern Hills when family visited. Clear instructions including photos at each junction with green arrows indicating route. Additional information about points of interest really useful. Would highly recommend if planning on walking in the Malvern area. Turn
What a great app
I normally prefer to use a map but the myriad paths heading up Happy Valley made me wonder which way to get to North Hill. This app fits the bill exactly, with photos of each path junction and an audible warning navigation was simple. Once on the top I switched back to my map but if Iâd realised beforehand how good this app was I would have used it for the whole walk to Herefordshire Beacon.

Best walking app!!
This is the best walking app we have ever come across, gives a step by step with pictures of each walk with clear directions and travel information. I wish all walking apps were this comprehensive!

A simple but helpful little app guide showing a number of walking routes around the general Malvern area. Photo directions plus gps location tracking and hints on the route. Excellent, thank you!
Lovely MalvernWalks app
The MalvernWalks app is lovely to use, very informative and functional. The photos are good quality, with detailed annotations, and easy to follow maps. Iâve never had trouble using the app on my IPhone 7+, and better still itâs free to download. Thank you for providing such a lovely functional app, I love it. Sarah.

Disappointing
There are some nice walks on this app but it doesnât display properly on my iPhone 7. The whole screen isnât visible in portrait mode and it doesnât display in landscape so itâs not possible to use when out walking
Made a great walk even better
Downloaded and used this app today to do British Camp walk. It was very useful indeed giving precise location on the map aided by photos showing where to go. It also gives lots of information en route to make it more enjoyable - history, geology, views etc. I initially struggled to use it - the feet pointing right/left for forward/back (duh!) - too clever/twee by half. But easy to use once youâve pressed a few buttons! Congrats to developer and Malvern area for making this so good (and free)

Doesnât fit screen, wonât zoom out
Itâs huge for my iPhone 11, and if I try to zoom out the screen just goes black. Unusable sadly.
