Best Pain Management App

I love that this app is simple yet useful it doesn’t lock you behind a paywall to access basic tracking needs. Each question is also customizable so you can input your own information. If anyone needs a pain tracking app i highly recommend this app.

Helpful & Simple

I waited until I’ve been using this app for over a year to make sure I really liked it. It’s exactly what you need if you’re trying to collect data points on your pain. The charts are very handy and I gave them to my GP who appreciated how clear they were. It’s also really nice that this is a free app and that you can personalise it a bit, thank you to the developers.

Hate this app. Not helpful. Waste of time. Tracks your pain. That’s it. You honestly shouldn’t need an app for that. 10 years of my life in pain I think I understand my triggers, symptoms, and what does or doesn’t work. It will suggest you see a psychiatrist, use mindfulness, and breathing exercises to control pain. Let me say if any of that worked I wouldn’t need to see a specialist. So frustrating to have to log your pain, and nothing come of it. Why should I have to use this app for my provider to believe I’m in pain? Absolute nonsense.

Response from developer

We're sorry that you didn't find the app useful. Everything in the app is evidence-based and co-developed with a multidisciplinary team of pain clinicians. Manage My Pain will not be able to reduce your pain - it is intended to help you communicate your pain to your care-team in a way that can support data-driven decision-making, and to introduce you to evidence-based self-management strategies that you can use alongside your existing pain management interventions such as medications, physical therapy, or surgery. We recognize that our app isn't for everyone, but we're happy to that you gave it a try, and are always open to hearing any suggestions or feedback about what would make it more useful for you.

Not very easy to use

Have to pay extra for graphs or reports. Didn’t show a very good summary

Response from developer

Hello - the issue with not being able to enter older records was actually a bug that was introduced in the last version. The good news is that we've now fixed the issue and you should be able to enter all records from all years without restriction! You also can upgrade to a subscription if you choose. Sorry about the inconvenience. If you ever have issues, please email us at contact@managinglife.com
