Best buying used items app
I think this is the best app for buying used items at a good deal. It really reminds me of what ebay used to be before it became so amazon-esque. But please for the love of god add a dark mode for this app the light mode is so bright and straining when using this app.

Ive really enjoyed using this platform thru out the years. I even recently found they have great customer service for questions or concerns you may have!

All apps have issues but I like this one for its simplicity and easy process. There’s not connecting back and forward to 100 places to use app, it’s a one stop shop.
Practically unusable
I want to use this app more but I can't because it STILL completely spams your notifications with things you just merely looked at. Never liked. Never research. Never searched. Just happened to click on our of curiosity or a misclick.
I would spend a ton of time on the app if it didn't do that but since I can't even safely browse I don't see the need to be on the app at all.

Not supportive
I don’t like the way the reviews work.. as a seller, the buyer is right no matter what. So even though I took the package to the post office the next business day after the sale, the buyer can still say the shipping was slow and rate me negative.. mercari said they want the buyers to be able to express their experience.
Then as a buyer, we bought expensive cologne, it ended up being fake even though advertised as real. They were making us go find a designer Authenticator before they would refund our money…. We gave nobody like that near us. So as much as I’ve loved Mercari, we are moving on and hoping Poshmark treats us better 🤞
