Terrible

Enough to make you want to switch banks. So glitchy. Doesnt work half the time. Waste so much time trying to authorise payments. Avoid at all costs.

Terrible

Does nothing. Just sits there with some text telling me it’s an authenticator no matter what I do, despite it notifying me that I have an authentication number ready to be used and now I can’t access my account on my computer because of these ridiculous security measures, which I understand, but make sure they work!

Scammers

Complete scammers, stay away from them. Useless system will waste hours of your time

Face scanning

Now being forced to use facial recognition to access your own money. Any pretence at freedom is long gone. These people work for satan.

Definitely could be better, both process and service.

Their payment system is an over complicated process.

Always malfunctioning

Honestly ridiculous how many times I have to delete and reinstall this app. Hardly ever works, I’m constantly having to call Metro to reset it. I’m moving my business banking elsewhere as i spend too much time trying to resolve app issues that prevent me from being able to pay new staff.

Bad to worse

Having to restart the phone for every authentication after one has been made

Authenticator has to be restarted every time

I use the Metro Bank App on my iPhone for authentication whenever I log into Online Banking on my desktop computer. After using it once it doesn’t reset and will fail to authenticate the next time I use it again. There is a “Log off” button but it doesn’t actually close the App. The only way to make it authenticate the next time is to restart the App. This is poor software design which hasn’t been fixed in any of the software updates.

Shambolic

One of the worse Authenticator apps I have used, to constantly keep downloading the app again in order to approve company payments is abysmal

Fraudulent app?

This app is apparently fraudulent and could impersonate Metrobank. This explains why all steps keep failing! It turns out that the Business login doesn’t require using this app!

Cannot resolve the problem

Have been trying to get the issue I have with this app for 4 weeks, IT dept needs re-training. They all keep telling me it’s resolved but it is still not working. Will be changing banks very soon.

A QR code hasn’t come up and no useful contents to help

The documents and contents about how to install the authentication app are so poor but if the app works correctly it doesn’t matter of the quality of the documents. Because usually we don’t read documents to down load any Apps. It must be so easy to start using apps. But this app is miserably poor!

Only for business??

Metro bank doesn’t let personal account customers use 2FA we have to rely on the less secure (and recently compromised -Google Metro 2FA) of receiving a text message to authorise access to our accounts from an unknown browser/location/device. This is unacceptable.

Useless

Really bad. Won’t work with either QR code scanning, nor manual entry via ticket number. Metro seems to struggle a lot with technology.

No support

I have been trying for over a week to seek assistance! The staff just don’t know how they can assist other than delete the app and reinstall and it does NOT work!

Absolute excrement

The worst lost useless app and bank ever

Its extremely problematic….

One of the worst apps I have used most of the time it does not work

Do not install

This app will not run without accessing your phone GPS and capturing your exact location.

Why that is needed - I do not know. Most Authenticator programs like this do NOT need GPS location.

Sorry, but this is just too big brother and creepy to use.
