Weird, Inaccurate, Non Intuitive

Needs a lot of work. Odd and non-intuitive interface. Very accurate on location. I don’t know if it’s the device itself or the app but it’s showing the location in a totally different state 1300 miles away less than one hour later. What if there’s an emergency? They really need to fix many aspects of this.

Locating my parent

My mother was stuck with a flat tire, used the location service to find her! Thank you for this!

Refreshed and Renewed!

Old app worked well and did what needed to be done. Love the refreshed lay out. Also as someone who loses track of important things I really love the added “ring my device” feature. Like the emergency feature … I hope I don’t have to use it but glad it’s there!

So much better!

The recent app changes really make a big difference. I got a device for my Mom and it makes me feel secure knowing she can get help when she needs it.

Easy to Use and Gives Peace of Mind

I’ve been using the Medical Guardian app for a little while now and it’s honestly been a really nice addition to the device. What I like most is that everything is in one place. I can see my information, my emergency contacts.

The app itself is pretty simple to use, which I appreciate. A lot of apps aimed at GPS location and activity levels can be overly complicated, but this one is straightforward and easy to navigate. My family also likes that they can stay connected and get updates if something happens.

What really stands out is the peace of mind. Knowing there’s monitoring behind the scenes and that help can be contacted quickly if needed makes a big difference. The app just makes the whole experience feel more modern and connected.

Overall, it’s a helpful companion to the device and makes it easier to manage everything in one place.

Latest update is better

The latest update changed the Home Screen for the better. The rest of the app makes more sense now!

Horrible service didn’t get it

Horrible service.. doesn’t work many phone calls and nothing.. sucks..

Struggling

This worked when we first set it up. But now we are struggling to get information. Please advise. Is there an update?

Months later, still can't sign in

NOVEMBER 2025- HORRIBLE. still can't login after almost a full year since they forced us to delete the old app and update it to their new one.. When you enter her your username and password and hit submit, it doesn't even tell you there's an error, it just does nothing. Leaves you on the same page. Called multiple times, followed the directions they ASSURED me would fix the problem by deleting and reinstalling the app and then using the reset password option. Nope. DOESN'T FIX ANYTHING. This is supposed to be one of the highest rated companies out here, yet they cannot hire a tech company to make a useable app. I have no idea whether the app would be any good if it actually does work, because I can never get into it. Not once since they went to a new app.
JUNE 25- still unable to sign in. No error message, simply nothing happens when you press the login button. So much for peace of mind! Terrible

UPDATE May11:they were aware of the problem, but the new update they just released didn't fix it. I am STILL unable to sign in. I have the correct information but when you hit submit, it will not leave the sign in the screen. how are we supposed to use this app to check the safety of our loved ones if we can't even access the account?

Terrible App

Overall this App was poorly designed, horrible coding, and not tested and clearly shows this app was pushed out quickly. The watch itself is not functioning correctly either. They want money for notifications on the event your loved one falls, assuming it records it, my dad has fallen 4 times since we got the watch and it only recorded 1. I would recommend staying away from this guardian. They also do updates without communicating that either like yesterday.

My grandma walked 36+ miles in 24 hours

How is it possible my 89 y/o grandmother was able to walk 36+ miles in under 24 hours? She does like the device, however it shows she was very active from midnight- 7am.

We prayed for her strength. Apparently the device shows miracles. She claims she does not own a straw old fashioned broom or get out much at night. Her black cat says otherwise.

Horrible

Im probably going to cancel this service and device we bought for my mother. If they can’t have a user friendly or working App, chances are the service would be no better in an emergency. It doesn’t work.

App is worthless

the app hasn’t worked in months. when will the app be fixed? A non functioning app is not an option. If not fixed shortly, will be transferring to another service.

Disappointing

What an embarrassment that a potentially life saving service has such a poor app. You should all be proud of a 1.7 stars out of 5 - has to make you one of the worst apps on the store. The most recent release now makes it impossible to see the last 7 days signal strength. The app says to “swipe left” but dong so has no impact on the graph… you can only see the last two measurements. So disappointing that this app never gets better despite the high fees we are forced to pay for this service… your programmers should be ashamed of themselves.

FIX YOUR APP MEDICAL GUARDIAN!

Had everything set up correctly when we got the device for my MIL, including adding us as portal members. Tried going into the app this morning only to get a “portal subscription feature isn’t enabled on this device” even though everything had been working fine. Log in as my MIL to see myself and my husband were removed as portal members, but can’t add us back in because that “portal member already exists”. We now show up again, but even that was a headache. When I use the online version it’s fine, but who wants to keep pulling out their laptop? Medical Guardian, the whole point to the app is to be able to keep an eye on our loved ones from afar and you are making this beyond difficult and stressful! I was told to check on the app again in 24-48 hours. WTH?!? This is unacceptable. DO BETTER AND FIX THIS APP ASAP!!!!

Impressive!

New user. MG must have made updates because we are very happy with the information provided through this app. I can see device status, steps, battery level, connection status, charging time, activities, etc. You can also get this info from website login. Choosing MG was the best decision for our family.

Inaccurate Data

Per the advice of the support person I spoke to on the phone, I deleted the app and reinstalled. Swiping left to view battery history now works (sort of) if you use 2 fingers. Step count is still wildly inaccurate. It shows my dad took 57 steps at 3PM, but his device was on the charger at that time. Also battery status currently shows 0 and charging , but details show battery is at 100% at 4:32PM. This makes it very difficult to manage for my dad remotely.
