This app is worthless
Trying to access my account through a different phone which says im not a customer, than directs me to install T-Life...which is trying to make me sign up for T-mobile account?
However i try to use the cell ohone that has service and add a line, it wont let me
The web site also wont let me add a 2nd line either!
I also have to drive over an hour to the nearest store when problems come up only to get employee that cant speak English
Will be canceling my service early and going with a company that wants to give me multiple lines even if i have to pay more per month
Edit…apparently complaining works and now i can successfully add a line after I already or a post pay account through T-Mobile…I may be back in the future when I need a spare line or two for an affordable price. However still 1 star because I had to complain

My metro ha has
After nine years as a loyal customer, I was told my phone wasn’t compatible, so I was upsold onto a more expensive plan instead of getting real help. Then when my hotspot and data limits hit, the answer was just ‘upgrade again.’I was then sold Metro Home Internet, but couldn’t set it up because my camera was broken, and the QR code was required. I spent hours on the phone being bounced between Metro and T-Mobile, was told to go to a store, and lost another two days. After finally getting a replacement, I still couldn’t log in, which led to another hour-plus call. The representative was condescending, repeatedly saying she understood while offering no real solution. After all that, the compensation offered was $6.60. After pressing for a manager, it increased to seven dollars, which wasn’t even compensation, just a credit for services I didn’t receive. When I tried to complete the customer satisfaction survey, I waited several more minutes before being transferred, only to answer one question before it abruptly ended, making me wonder if negative feedback was being filtered out. For nine years, I’ve paid this company, and this is the level of service and respect I received. I wasn’t looking for a handout. I just wanted the service I paid for, and fair treatment when things went wrong. Instead, I got misleading sales tactics, endless transfers, hours of wasted time, poor customer service, and an insulting attempt at compensation. If this is how Metro by T-Mobile treats long-time customers, it’s hard to recommend them to anyone.

Good, an A- rating
It cost me $147 for six months worth of unlimited 5G data when I went to a physical branch location in Little Bangladesh neighborhood in Los Angeles when I paid by debit card all upfront since you get that option one time if you’re a new customer. They then make you pay by monthly after that 6 month period ends since you sadly can only pay for 6 months of unlimited 5G data all upfront one time if you’re a new customer.
I only have two months left until my 6 month period ends though. I’m hoping I can visit a few other areas that my old phone use to not get signal at (Laguna Beach) when I used to use AT&T as a carrier. I’m never going back to high monthly bills again, so I’ll stick to using prepaid plans. If my Metro by T-Mobile service doesn’t get signal in Laguna Beach and other areas in the more Southern and rich parts of Orange County (in SoCal, not Florida), then I might switch to Total Wireless by Verizon since I heard Verizon is more consistent throughout the US than T-Mobile. However, T-Mobile does lead in METRO AREAS when it comes to 5G specifically. If you’re like me though, 5G isn’t that important. I just need good signal and it to me reliable in a much larger percentage of the American mainland territory, such as in little towns and cities, which tend to only have AT&T and Verizon towers since T-Mobile isn’t really as popular in extremely small and rural towns/cities. This is especially true where I’m from in North Dakota over in the Midwest.
I’ll possibly update this review in two months when my plan runs outs and say whether I stayed with Metro by T-Mobile or switched to Total Wireless by Verizon.

I have T-Mobile as my service provider, I got some phones off metro pcs to help some friend, I downloaded the metro pcs app and it didn’t allow me to sign in using their numbers to pay the bill it forces me to open the T-Mobile app
BROKEN!!! — Fixed!
UPDATE: App now functions. Just in time for T-Mobile Tuesday. I was beginning to wonder. App went from giving me the error below, to repeatedly cycling the splash screen, and now today I can log in. Only going to update to 4 stars though.
Aug 8, 2026: The app doesn’t even load — “onboarding__authentication__error_resolve_in_title”
I have deleted and reinstalled the app, and still get the same errors.
I am getting tired of sloppy programming. Do your jobs and beta test BEFORE release.
