Notification won’t disappear
There’s been a notification on my app for about 2.5 weeks and nothing fixes it

Interaction patterns exist for a reason. They’re called patterns for a reason. Every transfer flow in the world is ordered “from” then “to”. Some total knob at Navy Federal designs they’re going to innovate by changing a money transfer pattern that has existed for decades by reversing the order and now they’re all “surprised Pikachu” that members like myself have transfers and payments go awry. Change it back to it makes sense. Unless and until this is fixed it’s a 1 star rating and I literally keep my money at Capital One to avoid using this app.

Change it back to the way it was PLEASE!!!
I have been using this navy federal website for years and now it says I need to update it but I don’t know how. The notification says go to the App Store and when I do there’s no update. Also, I don’t know how much money I have in the bank and before your updated I could always find out with no problem. Why did you do this??? It always worked before.

App is literally always “under maintenance”
GLITCH
My app hasn’t been working for months and I’m really getting irritated. Every time I open the app it’s just an orange circle . I can’t log in I can’t do a Face ID nothing .
App was great until the 2026 update
It feels like whoever was placed in charge of managing the 2026 update was a nepo hire. First it wouldn’t allow people to make payments against their credit card balances. Now that the payment bug has been fixed, the transactions won’t load. I have to ask, how much money is the credit union overpaying for this LCS of an app?

Travel Rewards Unredeemable
I have been trying multiple times to redeem my credit card points for hotel stays but you can’t add the stay dates or amount of people. I also have tried the browser on my phone and it’s not working. What a scam!
Disaster
A year or two ago it was a very good and excellent app and now it’s been ruined on my iPhone 16E
First of all, I cannot see the left and right hand side of the window no matter how I zoom … the left and right sides of the window in the app are cut off in other words they are are truncated!!! so I end up having to use the website. I don’t know, but it seems like there’s an awful lot of maintenance going on too. Why don’t you just bring back the app from two years ago?!!!

I used to say that it was the best financial app I had. But now your app and recently even. USAA app. Have been tampered with and ruined.

Always under maintenance
WHYYYY is this app constantly under maintenance? I try to open in and half the time I can't even check my account or transfer money because they're "conducting scheduled maintenance." I've never dealt with a banking app or any app like this where it's always undergoing some sort of service, like this is so frequent that it has irritated me enough to the point of writing a negative review. PLEASE just fix it once and leave it at the or something.

Unacceptable
I live in Hawaii and the navy federal app is almost always being worked on. Definitely open another bank!
The app is trash
It shouldn’t ever take 6 plus hours for a “ schedule maintenance” it’s ridiculous at this point
The Maintenance shut down is annoying
Eveytime I need to get into my bank I gotta worry if it in maintenance or not like at least give me a warning

Won’t Let me Login
The app is terrible!!! I have been unable to login since I got my account. I have reset my password multiple times but for some reason the app doesn’t recognize my account. I can login online perfectly so there is something wrong with that app. If I could give it 0 stars I would!!!
cc notifications
Have had this app for many years and never any issues when using my cc and expecting a notification via text or email that my cc was used. However, seems at the beginning of 2026 i started having issues not receiving notifications when i use my cc. have called customer service many times trying to resolve but no luck correcting the issue. Have deleted the app several times and reinstalled and use my cc again and we good for maybe a week receiving cc notification, then back to not receiving notifications; it's imperative i receive notifications when i use my cc just incase it's stolen.

Maintenance and 24/7 help
If they have maintenance York screwed. a random charge you know comes through and you don’t call them they block your card then when you do try to call them about it they don’t answer the line and sit around chat up their buddies, 24/7 help is a joke. Wake up and do your job.
Customer service
I had an urge matter I needed answering and instead of answering navy reader customer support made me wait hours and didn’t even answer as well as the instagram navy federal had answered faster then the actual company.
Love NFCU
I generally have no complaints about NFCU, but recently, I am finding it difficult to look at my certificate details. I hit the arrow to expand that section. Sometimes it immediately closes back up, sometimes it lets me scroll down for a second or two before it closes back up.
Best of All
You won’t find better than NFCU, period.
I Hate Navy Federal
If I had a triple negative zero that would be the rating. They lie like no tomorrow. Absolutely hate them.
