False advertising! Scammy company, don’t buy their service! Garbage dev responses
Nomad eSIM deliberately uses language in their data plan to mislead its customers. The “add on” plan that they offer is no add on at all. Your existing data doesn’t carry over at all, it expires and the “add on” plan you purchase is no different than a new plan. The “details” page they show you never mentions that your data doesn’t carry over. They use the name “add on” tricking you to buy the plan early making you think that your it’ll add on to your existing plan. The part that states that your existing data doesn’t carry over is hidden in their help content. Why would a customer go digging for such information when the “details” don’t mention that and they call it “add on plan”? Most people won’t and this is how they fool you into thinking that you’re actually getting a fair deal. But that’s just their scammy tactics into getting you to pay for a plan early on and then find out that your existing data doesn’t carry over after the new plan have started already, therefore doesn’t qualify for a refund. Stay away from this type of anti consumer company. They should be sued for false advertising!

Good coverage
Good coverage across even remote and notoriously troublesome areas, such as Sulawesi and Sumatra. The hybrid approach to networks appears to pay dividends in this respect. As with all eSIM providers, it is horribly overpriced compared to a physical SIM, but a good option in a pinch if your IMIE has expired or if you’re unsure about network coverage

I’ve used Nomad in the past with good luck but their customer service is AI and isn’t helpful and their policies are bad.
The website failed to use the promo code I entered and billed me full price. They won’t refund the discount amount I should have received. Choose a better company.

A Jamaican so grateful
I went on vacation with no plans to do too much moving around then my uncle passed , so I needed a way to get to the family and had no phone to call uber or even them, but someone said try nomad and believe me thia has been Hod sent because I was able to do everything with my family and get to many other places I had no plan on going until I was able to call for rides … so a big thank you to nomad !

Frustratingly inconsistent
I took a month long study trip to China and was living in the same place and navigating the same areas of coverage, unfortunately high speed service was rare and I was often left with 3G, and the inexplicably it would go to 5G. When it works it works well and was useful navigating China when it worked. For travelers I would recommend getting a Chinese number, but having one is playing on hard mode.

No Signal
I got the Nomad pass Europe. No signal in Hungary, no signal in Croatia, no signal in Italy. Luckily I had another phone with another eSIM provider that worked well in all European countries I visited.
Plano Ilimitado não é bom
Estou na China. O plano de 50gb era bom. Mas agora que comprei o plano ilimitado para poder ver vídeos em HD e etc a Internet fica oscilando e travando.

It’s impossible to cancel a subscription! They force you to cancel through the chat and the chat AI tells you to cancel in the chat. You’re stuck if you accidentally do the subscription
Unreliable
I was recently without internet for several days while camping in Germany as my Nomad eSIM completely failed. No one camping with me had any connection issues and even when I returned to Berlin, I couldn’t get any connection after trying the recommended steps several times. I ultimately had to find public WiFi to access an eSIM with a different app. I do not recommend Nomad for reliability or product support

Very low quality signal
I took the Schengen plan and travelled in France, Netherlands and Italy. The connection would work only for 10 minutes and then it had to reinitiated again. Better to look for more reliable providers.
