Doesn’t work. Customer support is highly unhelpful and unprofessional. They don’t want to refund the money even though they couldn’t activate the eSIM for me. Just go with Roamless

Poor Service
I couldn’t use one time and I couldn’t get cancel and the operator was horrible on another time. I lost 30-40 dollars.

Purchased several esims
Problem with Nomad is that once you buy an eSIM that doesn’t work they just blame the provider, even after they troubleshoot and confirm your settings are correct.
When other members of the family have the same Nomad eSIM and are in the exact same location and same phones you know it’s not a coverage issue but they just read off a script to defer resolving.

Worthless in certain countries
I tried Nomad once in Fiji and it was pretty much worthless. A few months later, I figured maybe I’d give them another chance since Fiji is probably a tough country for any network provider. This time I was in Cambodia but Nomad was just as worthless there. Can’t speak for other countries but I’d recommend using another provider if you are visiting Fiji or Cambodia.

Better options exist
I’ve used it about 3-4 times. I found the instructions a bit confusing but got it to work the first time. Unfortunately, subsequent new eSIMs or top ups required hours of troubleshooting frustration. I ultimately needed to contact their customer service 3x, which was helpful in resolving the issues. But overall, too much trouble to have to go through that to get each sim or top up working. I downloaded a competitor whose eSIM worked flawlessly within a minute, so I’ll stick with them in future.

Consistently misleading
Works some of the time. Unfortunately in the times you need cellular the most, it fails. It will tell you that you have 2,3, or even 4 bars but this means absolutely nothing because there is no connection at all. I’d rather it just tell me I have no service than lead me on. The coverage is not great either. I traveled all over central/western Europe (Germany, Liechtenstein, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, France, Spain, Portugal) and had more dead spots than anything else.

Locked out of app after paying for eSIM
I keep getting denied access with my Apple account. When I use my email it’s says doesn’t exist! But I was sent a validation email from nomad with a code so it has to be in the system.

Easy to use with no problems, prices are better than mobi matter and hola fly!
Works generally and good price but…
First of all I will not respond to customer support, since I have waisted many hours before and they are merely trying to get you to increase your review score.
Strengths: Generally reliable service with good prices. I use it regularly. Having fallen out with them, I tried others and have returned because these eSIMs worked better. Weaknesses: The SIM routes you overseas if you are a UK customer in the UK, so live sports events on BBC are generally blocked unless you also sign up to a VPN and pick a UK server. That’s what I do. Secondly, I always purchase a whole new eSIM each time; the one time I tried to top up the existing one, it failed and Customer Service would not refund me despite dozens of emails and screenshots proving it failed (they could be fake screenshots I guess - but weren’t). Thirdly - the last couple of eSIMS I have bought on my device have failed to install so I have to photograph the QR code with my phone, then point my device camera at that QR on my phone and do it that way. Which does end up working fine.

So unreliable—lost a lot of vacation time on this
This app was super unreliable during my vacation in Vietnam and Cambodia. I wasted a lot of time. Should be plug and play. I asked for a refund and was told no. I will not use them again.

On holiday in India, purchased the 10 day unlimited plan 2 days into the trip the data stopped working, been told to wait 24-48 hours. What kind of joke is that when I am on holiday, now I need to make further purchase in order to have mobile data, what a joke of a company. Never using nomad again or recommending it!!

Super easy to use. I’d have loved more info on how to choose a plan based on common usage scenarios. We are driving around Ireland and have used almost 3 gigs in 3 days. Primary use is GPS + some WhatsApp messaging. Knowing this, I’d have gone with 10gigs of data.
I WASTED MONEY ON THIS JUST FOR IT TO NOT WORK, WHY???
I am currently in HongKong, China right now and I knew about this app from my mom. She told me it was good for traveling so I trusted her words and downloaded it. I orginally bought the 50GB ESim 45 days that costed $28 (or $35, I forgot), anyway, all that data is gone within 7 days, wow. I then panicked and bought another ESim that costed $33 for unlimited data 10 days and THIS DOESN’T WORK. WHY DOES MY PHONE NOT WORK EVEN THOUGH I ALREADY ACTIVATED THE ESIM. I CANNOT EVEN USE MY PHONE WITHOUT THE DATA RUNNING LOW ALREADY EVEN THOUGH ITS “unlimited”. WHAT CAN I DO TO FIX THIS? I AM POOR AND I NEED CONNECTION WITH THE WESTERN MEDIA. CHINA BLOCKS EVERYTHING AND ITS UPSETTING ME. PLEASE HELP ME. I JUST WANT TO WATCH TIKTOK ALL DAY AND IT DOESN’T LET ME BECAUSE CONNECTIVITY IS POOR.

Great service
I love using Nomad. After a huge phone bill a few years ago my friend told me about Nomad. Now I can just pay between 5-20 English pounds and get a local number with between 1-20gig. It’s SO easy to chose your country and how much data you want. No more shocking bill surprises for using Google maps etc

Worst esim ever
Buy it for canada. Works so so but unable to refill it. Such a waist of time . It didn’t works when it counted. Use ubiji instead. More expensive but trouble free
