I have very positive experience with Nomad eSIM and I would share it with anyone who is looking for a reliable solution in VPN and eSIM.
Not reliable
The eSIM will left the wifi calling option enabled, and let the data run. Don’t buy it.

Absolute garbage app – Left me stranded with zero support!
This terrible app lost connection right in the middle of the city, leaving me completely stranded with no way to call a ride or buy a train ticket.
To make matters worse, customer support was utterly useless. While I was struggling with a weak connection, they kept demanding screenshots instead of actually helping. The "solution" they provided literally made things worse—dropping my signal from E to 0 bars. Then, while I was completely offline, they just unilaterally closed the chat on me!
If you are thinking about downloading this app, DON'T. Save yourself the nightmare.

Promise 5g and it gives you 3g, I don’t recommend it
I really like the app, but…
I have two devices that I use when I am in Asia, my iPhone 14 and my iPad. I have no issues with my phone because I am on T-Mobile and have data almost everywhere. I use Nomad as a backup. It works very well. The issues I have is with the eSIM plan for my iPad. Because of the business model of auto-loading a nuisance 100mb add-on to the purchase of an eSIM, you either have to watch extremely carefully when to 100mb activates to buy an add-on with your perk discount. Otherwise, you have to buy a new eSIM and the nuisance 100mb add on is applied automatically. It is a good business model for the company, but a lousy one for customers because you never get to enjoy the massive add on discount.

Why is it so hard to cancel a subscription?
I’ve used this app in the past with no issues. I subscribed for their subscription during my last trip, however they make it extremely difficult to cancel the subscription, they knowingly do this so they can keep charging your card. Greediness kills businesses!
Rubbish
The eSIM didn’t work I couldn’t contact support until I had access to WiFi by then I had already lost the unlimited data days. They didn’t issue a refund even though they could clearly see I didn’t use the data. It’s a con do not use.
Great Support
First 5GB was great, mostly 4G speed. I bought 10GB that was cheaper. However, it didn’t work with the same setup. Support troubleshooting was extremely helpful. The data roaming for the purchased eSIM needs to be turned on.
Been using nomad for years!
Love this e-sim and can’t recommend it enough! I’ve used it in Ireland, the UK, Romania, and Latvia without any trouble.

App doesnt work after trying all the instructions and doing it multiple times while I also paid twice for the sim and still never worked and I couldn’t even call a representative to help only “ai” which is ridiculous
Stolen Phone
My phone got stolen and the Nomad team was nice enough to process a refund in credits for the remaining data that I didn’t use (I didn’t get to use much), so I then went ahead and bought a replacement plan on my new phone. Thank you all for your help.
No 5Gig
Bought 5 Gigabytes , in less than 2 day was gone! My T-Mobile 5 Gigabytes take almost 5 days !
Much better pay a little more and have you data for more days.
