Login issues w/o manual dns settings
Not sure what happened on the last update 3 wks ago, but I can no longer use the site or app w/o changing dns settings to manual. Can it be fixed please?
Unspecified login error every time now. No problem in browser.
App used to work well but now cannot login. Deleting and reinstalling does not help. Accepts credentials initially but gives error once loading.

Good App - Awful Service
I would recommend anyone stay from Optum for FSA. If their goal was to make everything as difficult as possible at every step, they are extremely successful. The app is good, however, there’s no easy way to submit messages or receive responses back to assist with insurance claims/receipts. They make things like submitting a breast pump through your FSA nearly impossible. Recommend avoiding at all costs…if you have a choice. I’ve had 6 different insurances and the FSA through them is far and away the WORST experience I’ve had.

Terrible Registration Process
I’m used to registering and using apps on a constant basis and this was a complete mess. They immediately locked my account with no explanation and when I called support they were unequipped to help and just passed me along to different departments. Be lucky employers are dim enough to use such a brain dead company for their benefits because no one would ever voluntarily put up with their bureaucratic and ineffectual nonsense.

Error
Several attempts to login on the app and it gives me an error message. The update has been done but still having login error messages. The app is great when you can get logged in and see your information but they need to fix the glitches.

App functionality is very good and chat feature helps to get answered quickly. Also a lot of information on app.
Crashes when I tap submit for reimbursement
The app looks great and it’s pretty well organized. It’s convenient to be able to add expenses and receipts on the go but every time I try to submit for reimbursement it crashes I have to go to the website to do a reimbursement, even though the app appears to be designed to allow this function.

I didn’t know that this app cost $16.99 I don’t know how to get a refund.
Our garbage and zero help
Model is the app garbage. But when you call them for help, they ask you for your credentials at least seven times.!!
Terrible service — cannot access HSA funds!
Good luck trying to access your own HSA savings at Optum Bank. They just refuse your medical expenses and then keep your money (at zero interest).
Optum Bank keeps blocking my HSA card due to “suspicious” charges which are all for 100% legitimate medical purposes. They do not tell you the card is blocked (not on this app or website), they just decline all your charges. I’ve called multiple times to unblock, and they promise to unblock but it never goes through in the end. This behavior is so systematic that it cannot be accidental anymore — I suspect it’s their conscious policy to hold on to your money.
Other than not letting you access your own money, the app is OK.

They make it very hard to opt out of the paper statements so they can charge you 1.5$ plus they charge you another 1.5$ if you don’t have 5k in there
Worst customer service
I was in hold over 45 mins and none picked up the phone. As soon as they here you are closing the account and you want to withdraw funds they will keep u on hold and never get back to you.
Easy to use
This app is intuitive and easy to use. It is not glitchy. Everything is visually appealing and easy to find. I wish all financial apps were like this one.
Anyone else have this issue??
I just created a new account so I can check the balance of my card online (well through the mobile app). I know my credentials are correct, but it keeps saying login error with a gray screen that pops up once my. Username and password are inputted. Has anyone else had this issue?? If so, how do I fix this so I can check my card without having to call.

Called to change a debit card pin and it’s virtually impossible. You just get bounced around different lines
Horrible App
I keep trying to submit a claim (over a few days) and it keeps telling me that it can’t process my request and that I need to contact them or try again later! Frustrating!!!!!
Bad for HSA
Might be good for banking…. Not for HSA. Terrible experience inputting my own claims to reimburse later. Can’t find receipt bank to store receipts and have to maneuver through various loopholes just to create claims that I’ve already paid out of pocket. Terrible experience for basic task. app looks nice, but thats about it

Worst HSA/FSA
I’ve never felt more compelled to leave a review but stay away from these people. They are thieves. It’s been over one year that my company has been paying into this for an HSA I never received. Every time I call they say they will put in a ticket but nothing happens. They have screwed over my taxes for 2025 because the money came out of my checks but I never saw a dime. My account says I have zero dollars and they keep taking money out of my checks every paycheck. Don’t enroll with them. They are just another greedy corporation trying to steal your money, you will never be able to get in contact with anyone that can help you.
