I’ve been signed out
I’m writing this review to raise that a couple of times the app signed me out or the wifi disconnected, both preventing me from accessing my ticket when getting on the bus. Would it be okay if this could be looked into please as this has happened a couple of times and made me run late for work. I’m aware the app can’t control my wifi, but neither can I, as wifi generally is poor on phones in general when away from home, however the app should work without wifi, otherwise I don’t see the point in having it, and my main concern with this is the fact that the ticket I have got costs £230, that is not money I can afford to spend on buses so I therefore have a bursary and have it for free, so either way I don’t feel I should ever be expected to pay for a bus fare to the Oxford company due to issues with the app which are completely out of my control. I hope this can be looked into and thank you for taking the time to read this review.

Bronco bucking ride today
Our bus driver on the no15 bus did let have good brakes or braking skills as a couple of times we nearly fell off our chairs shortly after 19.15pm , other than that normally a great service.?

Late as always for the 44 bus route
Too many clicks for frequent tasks
Not too bad… but the experience should be improved: some frequent tasks (such as accessing your active ticket) are cumbersome and take too many clicks, it needs to be easier. Also, when you have bought many tickets and see them altogether… they are difficult to tell apart! Make them visually more different. I have multiple tickets purchased.. and I’m always fearful of accidentally activating the wrong one. This app is used when people are in a rush.. or distracted with other things, and/or need to board a bus quickly.. this should be considered by the designers.

Perfect but…
Really good app used it for ages, good for tracking the bussed live positions and the qr code passes are super helpful. I just wish that active service updates would push a notification if it affects either a favourited stop or route as sometimes it’s easy to forget the service updates or not knowing until it’s too late. If this is already a feature and I don’t know about it then there is nothing wrong with the app.

Unreliable
If you don’t already know the bus routes and the most up to date route changes, don’t feel bad about yourself! This official app doesn’t know that either! This app has unreliable live tracking information. Bus routes are different from what it shows, and it has a habit of showing fantom departures if you select a stop.

Not useful if not accurate
Last 4 uses haven’t given me any idea of when the bus will actually arrive. Waiting at Morrell avenue to go in to town at 4.10 on 08/09. App told me the bus would arrive at 4.15. At 4.30 a bus passes, not in service. Tried the live bus tracker twice, each time the app crashed. I should have walked. I suggest you do if you can!

No ability to order - expensive mistakes possible
Generally a good app. However, you can’t order your tickets with the ones you use frequently at the top. Managed to activate my Heathrow ticket in haste. Please could a save for later or ordering of tickets be made possible? That and a form of undo - they have this on the OBB app in Austria. You get to undo for a short period of time for situations such as these. If I could get my Heathrow ticket back that would make my day.

Horrible app poorly coded
I was looking at 2 tickets and added them both to the cart without knowing then when I went to buy one of them finally it payed for them all. Needless to say most of them are pointless but also even after buying them it doesn't clear them and leaves it in the cart and it can't be removed because the app doesn't work

Terrible service
I’m writing this review while standing at a bus stop, where I’ve been waiting for over an hour. The display board keeps showing the next bus arriving in 5 minutes, then 7 minutes, only for it to never show up. This cycle repeats without explanation.
This level of service is completely unacceptable and incredibly frustrating, especially for those relying on public transport. Oxford Bus Company needs to address these issues and improve their scheduling accuracy. Until then, I would not recommend relying on this service.

Having issues
Having issue specifically with the Harwell Campus Oxford Roundtrip ticket. Ticket says no stage coach which google defines as a horse driven carriage. So far so good. App keeps routing me via 300 and ST1 but ticket does not work on 300. Why is that?

Good afternoon, the app will route you to the closest point you have selected in Oxford, so if you generalise your destination, the App will suggest services to get you as close as possible. If you specify where you are going to in Oxford, the App should provide a more clear route. Hope this helps!
Unreliable to deceptive
My bus (the ST1 in Oxford) has had the wrong timetable for two weeks, and this week has had the timetable entirely removed. It’s still running. It’s routinely impossible to track buses - they simply appear sometimes. This is especially the case at starts and ends of the route. Live tracking is unavailable on this app sometimes when it is possible to track them on third-party websites.

Best app ever. I can now sit in the pub until exactly the time the bus comes without sitting at a bus stop in the pouring rain

Delays and no bus for almost an hour bus X3

Thames Travel buses are amazing!
The app is really accurate, the driver was waiting until the time according to the timetable was spot on, and for a person was running to catch the bus. Lovely, nice people, it’s great to have an option to leave the car home for a day, and take the bus

Buses running in blackbird leys to oxford railway stn are running at random timings as compared to the schedule
