Needs lifetime premium option.

I used to love and recommend this app, but they need a lifetime premium option. Not everything needs to be a subscription!

Amazing tool

Doing 10 mins of breath work in the am and pm has helped me so much ♥️🎉

Very good!

I am using Paced Breathing app for the 5.5 coherent breathing Practice recommended by James Nestor. I feel that it is helping my nervous system., Specifically my hyper sensitivity to light, movement and sound.

Great app

A great way to get ready for bed. It has a meditative quality and it seems to improve sleep quality.

Loving this!

I love that I can dial in my specific cadence (5.8 breaths/min) with my preferred inhale (4.1 sec). I’m using the free version and very happy with it

Excelent

Use it for biofeedback and it works

So helpful

The guided breathing with timing is so helpful as I am leasing to calm myself down. I can close my eyes and just focus on my breath while the metronome lets me know gore long to breathe in and out. Thank you

Breathe easy

Its very easy to use and i have seen improvements in my breathing exercises due to adding this app to my routine.

Calms

It rests and restores my nervous system.

very, very basic timer

this app is very basic and has way too many ads/notifications. I understand, a developer needs to monetize their app. Having said that, I suspect it would have taken very little effort to build this one. It is a basic timer with lipstick.

Consistency is key

I started with the free app but soon updated to the subscription. I love to be able to save my routines and track my progress. There are so many more expensive and complicated apps, but I think this, in its simplicity, works really well. And Mihai has been really helpful when I looked for help. I already shared with many of my friends!

Great for timed breathing

I use it to practice the 5.5 second breathing recommended by James Nestor in his book Breath

Love it but upsell ads need to stop

Until recently I had nothing bad to say about this app. I use the free version, and it’s all I need. Lately, after every timer session, I’ve been getting upsell ads. They’re annoying. I know that I can upgrade if I want to. The app developers don’t need to bombard me with a prompt to upgrade after every single session. It’s thirsty and tacky.

Response from developer

Hey - I’m releasing an update now to fix this (the Recap will be less annoying and you’ll be able to turn the Recap off from settings). Estimating it’ll be released this weekend. Sorry for the annoyance!

Best Breathing App!

This is one of my favorite apps! Slow breathing has been a life saver for managing stress and recovering from bad nights of sleep. This of the only app I’ve found that allows you so much customization. Thanks!

Too easy to turn off

I like this app a lot because it lets me easily set a time for inhale, the time for exhale, whether I want to hold after either the inhale or the exhale, and the length of the session. My only complaint is that if I accidentally touch the screen, it ends the session. Often I have the phone sitting on a table beside me while I breathe, and I will pick it up to see how many minutes have gone by accidentally touch the screen and the session is over. And I have no record of how many minutes have passed. I would like the app to have a different way to easily pause or end the session .

Response from developer

Hey there, I’m looking to add a pause mode at some point, if you email me (hello@pacedbreathing.app), I’d love to get more details so I can design this feature well for you.

Brilliant

Powerful in its simplicity. Makes meditation easy

Simple

It is simply breathtakingly simple, easy to use and easily understandable.

Initial Options

So disappointing there is only one breath exercise to try.

Additional sound feature

Love The App!! .. could you add a sound feature that mimics the human breath as it inhale and exhale?

I find that feature in other apps, extremely soothing. However, I think your app is number one so if you could add it, that would be fantastic.

Response from developer

Thanks for the kind words! ❤️

📝 DOES NOT TRACKING PROGRESS

Love The App!! ..but could you update the app in such way that one can automatically track progress in iPhone’s Health Data tracker.

Other breath apps have this capability so I’m assuming it wouldn’t be that difficult of an update. 🫡
