Invalid payment errors
I have been paying steadily into my RentCafé Resident app for years, on the urging of my property manager, without issues. Now I cannot make a payment, regardless of amount, without getting an application error claiming the payment amount is invalid. I have talked with the property manager, I have sent emails to RentCafé, I have tried different payment amounts FOR THREE DAYS in order to pay my rent with no progress. Now I am resorting to this review in order to get heard and get some information…because nothing gets attention more in this world than a low rating on a forced rent payment application.

It’s pretty easy to use and you can send the request directly .
Elements broken beyond use
Payment cards and leasing signing is severely broken. Invisible hit-target for the Add a New Account button has drifted or expanded high up into the screen coordinates and causes inability to select payment accounts. On the same vein, lease signing is out of whack with where it should be. Engineers need to re-anchor the signature window directly to the top of the signature lines container element and fix z-indexing. If I had to guess the following would work: cardView.clipsToBounds = true
Regardless can’t pay my rent. Thanks!

Maintenance
I am so very pleased with our maintenance man when I turn an issue in, they are on it and get it done within one to two days even though it has been very hot outside. Thank you so much!
Idea might be there but the actual functionality is garbage
Management companies? Do you want your residents to pay or no? RENTCAFE MAKES IT HARDER TO SUBMIT A PAYMENT.
I’m trying to pay EARLY and RentCafe is glitching so bad I’m not receiving verification codes… HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO PAY MY RENT.
I’m curious as to who is benefitting from an app that doesn’t work 90% of the time.
How long do I have to wait for a verification code? 12 days?
I’ll be actively advocating for my property management company to drop you and your contract. I’ll be logging every bug, glitch, and delay.
