PLEASE FIX UR APP

The app does not accurately reflect which rides have been sold out so you don’t know until you try to pay and get an error. Also the email verification links don’t work 90% of the time which creates a dead end for the user flow. Please fix this is basic UX

Not a useful app

App only allows you to book a ride. Nowhere in the app is any way to look up your ticket, your bus, your reservation. Do better.

Smell like bad

My trip was horrible, The bus was very dirty, it smelled super bad. The only thing to know was the very friendly driver and good driver.

Bus schedules not up to date!

I booked an 8 PM shuttle just to receive a call hours before the pickup from the local operator that the latest pick-up is at 3 PM. Don’t trust their schedule. Research local transport instead!

Despite the Update….

OMG. This app is feckin brutal.
- They default to bots on the chat widget before you get to speak with an actual agent.

- they DONT allow using Apple Pay

- you can’t purchase a ticket at the bus.

Horrible App

Bus GPS tracking feature is awful and inconsistent. Customer service features may as well be non-existent. I tried using the “Rally” customer service chat feature and it put me in someone else’s already existing chat. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Always easy to use and cheap booking

Advertised price

The advertising reports $27.50 for a one way trip but you have to purchase vouchers. No option not to so price goes up to a range of 32 -75 dollars.

Always Transaction got Erro

I tried to paid for my ticket which one I got $17 each way’s NYC-DC return and tried to paid by my credit and Debit card but every time I renter my card detail’s, transaction doesn’t goes through infant always says Transaction got erro????? It Seems I NEED TI SAY BYE BYE TO OURBUS FOREVER….😒

1 hour delay

I took the bus from dc to Blacksburg, the bus was supposed to leave the station at that time and as usual the ask you to get the 30-15 min earlier the bus showed up at 2:10 after an hour of delay no information on the location of the bus or a notice about the bus coming late the driver shows up with the worst attitude and being disrespectful with all the people that was waiting.

Review

There is couple issues with this company. Customer support is outsourced and limited in their help. You can’t simply rebook, you have to cancel and repurchase. Ofcourse you have to do it on your own. All in all not so cheap and very limited assistance. Booking fees are non- refundable

This app sucks. The bus is great tho

Love the bus, great experiences always comfortable and safe. The app is constantly glitching, half the time it doesn’t accept payment.

Bus didn’t show up

Dear OurBus
I purchased a ticket on OurBus from Springfield, VA to New York at 8:15 AM on March 11, 2026 (ticket number:
I arrived at the stop at 8:02 AM and waited at the Greyhound bus stop sign at Franconia–Springfield Metro Station. I waited there for one full hour. I also have photo evidence showing that I was at the correct location.

Then I called customer service and was told that the bus had already left. However, this is not correct. When tracking the bus it showed it didn’t even departed( not trackable, driver offline) I stayed at the stop and even asked local bus drivers if I was standing in the right place. They confirmed that I was at the correct stop and advised me to keep waiting.

Because the bus never arrived, I had to leave and travel to Union Station in Washington, DC. This situation caused me a lot of stress in the morning. Your customer service refused to refund the money, saying the bus was departed

Scammers

They don’t understand time change and after screwing up my ticket refused to give me my money back. Having to take legal steps. Beware of these people.

No matter how many cards and times trying to pay online and in app, nothing goes through

Better than having to drive

Took a round trip - Boston to NYC and back. The trip out left on time but was delayed due to traffic and weather, got in about three hours late. But wifi was good, restroom was acceptably clean and seats were comfortable. The trip back was on time, but much worse. The bathroom had zero toilet paper and my companion was the first to use it. The wifi didn’t work and the seats were narrower. On neither trip did the driver share the wifi information, we had to ask. But the folks at each pick up point who were there to facilitate boarding and answer questions were incredibly helpful and polite. While I would use OurBus again, it wouldn’t be without a sense of dread and definitely wouldn’t be without some handy tissues for the loo!

Worst of the worst

Never got money back for them putting the wrong direction and missing my bus as a result. Instead just got my account deactivated and card banned. All because I filed to get my money back with my bank. Which I never then did. I tried to contact but all operators are unhelpful.
