This app isn’t transparent. Escrow is a mystery even on the website. You cannot see any outgoing history for escrow like you can regular payments.
App works fine the underwriters suck
Do not use rocket mortgage if you want to keep your sanity and actually be able to close on a house. Kayla has been excellent but the other people constantly have to have more documentation then I will upload it then they need more and they don’t accept documentation that proves what they need to see. For instance my grandma had to pay off a credit card for contingency to get her home loan paid it off uploaded the paid in full receipt uploaded the bank statement voided check and the bank statement showing it paid and they did not accept the documents. They needed more. It is always more. And the delay in response will always put your closing off. If you need 1 document signed and closing is the next day closing will be delayed because the review team is SLOW.

We tried to make a principal only payment to pay down our final balance, but only to be told that after they took the money and held it for almost a month, but it would not be applied because it was too much and too close to reaching the payoff balance.

Update is Awful
Newly updated version is awful. I had no issues prior to the last update. Now the app won’t let my put by bank account in and keeps saying “there’s an issue,” despite me putting the information in three times directly from my online bank account.”
