The problem with Rover is its inconsistency with finding good dog sitters who are available. I’ve met just in my first session with two different dog sitters, drove in 3+ hours only for them to tell me either that they have canceled because something has come up or they would not even be able to take my dog out to pee every four hours, one guy noted. He works from 9 to 5, which would obviously not work if he took a second to read the profile before I drove over an hour, when Rover was informed about this, their decision was to credit me $20 for 3+ hours and two canceled bookings, deleting the app

Hi rover i’m a pet sitter on the app and the only thing i really have to say is can if I put myself as away or not available for certain dates could you please make so the family can’t request. I know the app said it won’t affect me but when i’m away on a trip or handling things I’m still can’t fully disconnect because I have to respond to families and tell them i’m not available.
