One Update Destroyed Everything
I’m not sure why they would update the app by removing a lot of basic functionality while completely redesigning its entire look and feel. With orders, you can no longer copy tracking numbers, view product information, or track packages within the app using the built-in browser—everything now opens in your default browser. You also can’t add a package type when creating a label, and that feature seems to do nothing.
On top of that, the entire interface has been merged into one continuous layout. There’s no clear distinction between sections anymore, no dividers, and everything has the same plain white appearance. The current status of an order is also now extremely small and doesn’t stand out, making it much harder to quickly identify an order’s status at a glance.
The orders page is another good example of this issue. It used to be divided by days, making it easy to scroll quickly to a particular day and find an order. Now, there’s nothing that clearly separates one day’s orders from the next, making the entire page feel like one endless list. It’s much harder to scan through orders and quickly find what you’re looking for when there are no clear visual breaks or distinctions between days.
The redesign makes the app feel less organized and harder to navigate, while removing features that were genuinely useful. Overall, this update feels like a major step backward in both functionality and design.
Looks less human built more AI built and that’s sad.

October 2026 Update Sucks
They recently released an update that made getting info a lot harder. I used to be able to just click on the order number and copy it if needed. No I can't copy it.
Also the tracking numbers don't show up as a clickable link and it also doesn't give me the option to highlight and copy them. So I have to go back and forth between Shopify and Chrome so I can see the tracking number and type it in. Fix the update plz.

Amazing platform
All I can say is that Shopify has allowed me without any experience whatsoever create a store online to sell my current products at an amazing growth rate. From $2000 my first year to shipping over 500 orders per year in year 6.

Fine until updates
The app is powerful but recent updates have been bad. For example the app’s order screen changed, orders in the list are harder to distinguish from one another, and fewer orders fit on screen. When I open an order, less information fits in the view as well. There should be more separation between orders and a more compact layout for both the list and individual order screens.
