The best collaboration app ever
I've used Slack since 2019, across five companies. I even boomeranged, and Slack made it feel like nothing changed.
Somewhere in there, I used Teams. Once. "Collaboration software," they called it. What I got was four frozen faces, one "can everyone see my screen?", and a chat feature that felt like shouting into a void. Least collaborative hours of my career.
Slack, seven years later, still feels new:
- Search used to be my superpower. Now Slackbot just tells me the answer. That's the new AI paradigm, and it's a little scary how good it is
-Channels killed my inbox. No funeral needed
It followed me through four jobs and felt like home every time
Slack isn't a tool. It's a colleague I’m in love with, now.

Battery drainer
Latest update is killing the iPhone battery. 25 minutes of screen time consume 12% of an iPhone 17 pro max. Terrible performance. App is getting worse everyday
