Terrible UI
Genuinely insane how difficult it is to log back in to your account. Another set of hoops I have to jump through when Slack automatically signs me out. Logging back in through google’s interface doesn’t get you into your slack account under the same Google email either, so you have to log in through slack’s interface into that same email account. And good luck finding that logout button once you’ve made the unfortunate and usual assumption that logging in through slack would be comparable with google’s portal like every other modern 21st century app that’s more than 2 weeks out of its beta. It’s beyond me how an app designed for boomers managed to hide the logout button from a 26 year old amidst a messy user interface riddled with endless features you’d never even think of desiring use for in the first place. God help the walking corpse of a tenured corporate septuagenarian if, god-forbid, they need to find the esoteric and obsolete feature of logging out from their profile. I can only imagine the slack call centers and I pray for those poor souls working overtime to compensate for the bureaucratic shortcomings of whatever circle-jerk in suits transpires every M-F from 9-4 in the app accessibility team over at slack because lord knows it isn’t time spent making the app more frictionless.

Slack is the bomb! It’s so easy to send a quick message to a coworker, or work group, and get a quick reply, or inform the full staff about something. We also enjoy adding gifs and emojis for a quick reaction to posts.

Functional but improbable
Slack on mobile is functional, but the largest piece of feedback I have for the app on desktop or mobile is that the media player is awful. After playing a piece of media once it skips to the end of the media and it is very difficult to scrub. If this was fixed it would vastly improve slack.
Huge Glitch With iPhone Keyboard !!!
Great app overall, but oh my god. The amount of times I have had to close and clear the app after sending a message and a giant block of colour where the keyboard once was stays up, covering the ability to do anything, one more time… I might go crazy. Please fix this, app coders!!!
Not happy that my devices are being phased out.
I have received your notifications that I need to update my O.S. Which means that my iPhone 8.0 is obsolete. I do not otherwise feel I need a newer model. I do use a newer iPad but I do not like to carry it with me all the time so I will lose my connectivity when I am not home.
I do like Slack but I wish you did not determine when I need to upgrade my devices. I am a senior on a pension and still have a landline so spending a whack of money on a new phone so I can get slack messages is not reasonable.
