The app on iPad and iPhone is dodgy AF. I’m fully paid up for years but not impressed with service being f+ing useless I’m logged in but customer BOT wants me to keep logging in! I’m furious! Pages don’t load, changes aren’t saved, screen just hangs blank half the time. It’s sh-eye-t service for how much they charge to be honest. I’m looking for another provider.

App crashes
I love squarespace as a whole it’s easy to learn and operate but the app sucks when trying to add new products you will spend 45mins trying to add 1 product everytime you wanna change the picture or add something in the description as soon as you click something to change it it crashes and sends you back a step without saving its the most frustrating thing I’ve ever seen

Glitching more and more
Started out fine and over time it’s barely functional (glitching, shorting out without saving, returning to main dashboard mid upload and erasing all data). I’m frustrated and I’ve contact support. Unfortunately, no real help was provided except well meaning suggestions. Desktop works fine.
Horrible
It was a good app at the beginning, but now it’s not. I know my log in email and password, I did all my editing through computer because it’s more easy to manage than a phone, but now it’s not letting me log in and every password says it’s wrong when it’s not. I even wrote it down, and it automatically saved, I even have it saved by email when I first created this account. It says it will send me an email to fix my password, but no email ever gets sent. This is ridiculous, $200 went on nothing.

Tech friendly and has everything I need for a dynamic site!

Most difficult site I have purchased a domain with to setup an email. I really hate I went with them.
Love the app but iPad use changed
I was a big fan of this app; I loved that I could create assets on my iPad Air 4 and have them ready to put onto my site without having to change devices. Then at some point, that became impossible; the website editor became unusable on my iPad, particularly when editing blocks. So I have to use the only laptop I have, my work laptop, which is to ideal.

Awful to try to work with, won’t let me open my own domain on my website, keeps saying it doesn’t support this version (I made it yesterday)
How many of the same negative reviews until they update the app
Since I previously left a review and was greeted with the same stock , please contact support response. I am seeing people are still having the same issues and I’m writing an updated review because years later I’m still having the same problem. I’m attempting to update my website in the mobile app and every time I move one of the sections, the app just goes white and crashes. We’re all paying customers at what point are you going to address the issue and not keep directing us to contact support. Where is your team that reads this feedback and does something about it without putting the onus on the customer? The website version on desktop works perfectly fine, but it’s the app. You owe us a refund or answers.

Bottom Tier Grade Website Hoster
Ive been with squares pace for 6 years and they absolutely have no innovation or improvement in the features. Using this platform feels like the early days of the internet it’s like they don’t really care. Happy to have found a new platform that is easy to use, works without constant tech glitches and is reliable.

Don’t walk away RUN!
Once they get your card info you’re toast! Charging me for services that were never provided and give me the runaround when I want to cancel it. And to no one’s surprise they do ZERO REFUNDS even if you never received the service that you paid for. Look at their BBB reviews! Soon as they get your card number they will run your account dry with numerous subscriptions.

I have been building with sqaurespace for over 7 years now. I use it and have built numerous websites for others. It’s such a wonderful platform and they listen to their users. If we have suggestions they answer! They have been with me as my business has grown to six figures and sqaurespace has handled it like a champ. Just waiting on batch order fulfillment, wink wink.

THE APP IS 100% USELESS!!!
I’ve been using Squarespace for years. This app is consistently glitchy. It’s 100% impossible to update it on the app. It crashes and freezes every time. Incredibly frustrating to do anything! THE APP IS USELESS
Doesn’t work on iOS 13
Great app on android 16, on my tablet. iOS on the other hand, sucks on this particular device.
Crashes and restarts from the slightest site edits. Also, desktop editing on mobile is completely unusable, so I don’t even try.

Square POS
Apparently Squarespace has had issues with the Bluetooth connecting to Square readers for years and has not bothered to fix it. I just made the switch because from everything I read it was supposed to be a smooth integration, but sadly it is not. Do not waste your time if you need to actually be able to ring up point of sale inventory. Really disgusted that Squarespace is offering this product knowing full well that it is not working properly. I wish I could get a refund for all of the hours I have spent trying to make this work
