New update kicks old phone users off
Can’t use iPhone anymore , been a squarespace store owner for years now they update and my iOS isn’t supported for new update and I can’t use the app at all. Worthless . I will consider changing platforms asap

Clunky domain name handling
I spend way too much money on Squarespace for the app to be this bad.
Wow, just tried updating my site from my phone and that was way too difficult! I guess on a technical level, yes, you can edit your site on the go and see stats. Two stars for that. Basic functions of blog editing are totally unavailable for some reason. It’s a hassle to do anything, though, and the app performance is sluggish at best. Waste of my storage space and making me seriously reconsider my subscription in general.

Laughably terrible, buggy as hell. DO NOT COMMIT TO THIS PROVIDER. I’m in too deep, it’s too late for me, I don’t have the capacity to change provider until next year. Please don’t make the same mistake I did. The app (iPad and iPhone) is just completely unusable. Don’t imagine it will improve with time either, that’s 2 years I’ve wasted waiting for this to be somewhat functional, every minor update you think will take a few minutes takes hours wrestling with the slow, buggy software, that crashes or throws up errors if you dare try to move the cursor to a new word, or god forbid resize something. Honestly, it would be a better use of time putting your business in the Yellow Pages than creating a website with SquareSpace, I think their development budget must be smaller than my yearly subscription. Just an absolute joke.

The most recent update seems to have resolved the bug & all is well in the world again
Unoptimized , worst app ever
. You virtually can’t even edit your own site thru this app without it constantly reloading and sending u back out of the menu, on an iPhone 15 to. It’s like the devices arnt even strong enough to power their total mess of an app, what a disgrace

The app on iPad and iPhone is dodgy AF. I’m fully paid up for years but not impressed with service being f+ing useless I’m logged in but customer BOT wants me to keep logging in! I’m furious! Pages don’t load, changes aren’t saved, screen just hangs blank half the time. It’s sh-eye-t service for how much they charge to be honest. I’m looking for another provider.

App crashes
I love squarespace as a whole it’s easy to learn and operate but the app sucks when trying to add new products you will spend 45mins trying to add 1 product everytime you wanna change the picture or add something in the description as soon as you click something to change it it crashes and sends you back a step without saving its the most frustrating thing I’ve ever seen

Glitching more and more
Started out fine and over time it’s barely functional (glitching, shorting out without saving, returning to main dashboard mid upload and erasing all data). I’m frustrated and I’ve contact support. Unfortunately, no real help was provided except well meaning suggestions. Desktop works fine.
Horrible
It was a good app at the beginning, but now it’s not. I know my log in email and password, I did all my editing through computer because it’s more easy to manage than a phone, but now it’s not letting me log in and every password says it’s wrong when it’s not. I even wrote it down, and it automatically saved, I even have it saved by email when I first created this account. It says it will send me an email to fix my password, but no email ever gets sent. This is ridiculous, $200 went on nothing.

Dans l’ensemble, j’ai toujours été très satisfaite de Squarespace. Cependant, depuis plusieurs mois, la modification de mon site depuis un iPhone est devenue quasiment impossible.
C’est particulièrement pénalisant lorsque l’on n’a pas son ordinateur à portée de main et que l’on doit effectuer des modifications rapidement. Pour un service payant, ce type de problème est difficilement acceptable.
En lisant les avis récents, je constate que de nombreux utilisateurs rencontrent le même problème et que celui-ci persiste depuis plusieurs mois, sans solution apparente. J’espère qu’une correction sera apportée rapidement.

Love the app but iPad use changed
I was a big fan of this app; I loved that I could create assets on my iPad Air 4 and have them ready to put onto my site without having to change devices. Then at some point, that became impossible; the website editor became unusable on my iPad, particularly when editing blocks. So I have to use the only laptop I have, my work laptop, which is to ideal.
