Love the app but iPad use changed
I was a big fan of this app; I loved that I could create assets on my iPad Air 4 and have them ready to put onto my site without having to change devices. Then at some point, that became impossible; the website editor became unusable on my iPad, particularly when editing blocks. So I have to use the only laptop I have, my work laptop, which is to ideal.

Awful to try to work with, won’t let me open my own domain on my website, keeps saying it doesn’t support this version (I made it yesterday)
How many of the same negative reviews until they update the app
Since I previously left a review and was greeted with the same stock , please contact support response. I am seeing people are still having the same issues and I’m writing an updated review because years later I’m still having the same problem. I’m attempting to update my website in the mobile app and every time I move one of the sections, the app just goes white and crashes. We’re all paying customers at what point are you going to address the issue and not keep directing us to contact support. Where is your team that reads this feedback and does something about it without putting the onus on the customer? The website version on desktop works perfectly fine, but it’s the app. You owe us a refund or answers.

Bottom Tier Grade Website Hoster
Ive been with squares pace for 6 years and they absolutely have no innovation or improvement in the features. Using this platform feels like the early days of the internet it’s like they don’t really care. Happy to have found a new platform that is easy to use, works without constant tech glitches and is reliable.

Don’t walk away RUN!
Once they get your card info you’re toast! Charging me for services that were never provided and give me the runaround when I want to cancel it. And to no one’s surprise they do ZERO REFUNDS even if you never received the service that you paid for. Look at their BBB reviews! Soon as they get your card number they will run your account dry with numerous subscriptions.

Long time user
I have been building with sqaurespace for over 7 years now. I use it and have built numerous websites for others. It’s such a wonderful platform and they listen to their users. If we have suggestions they answer! They have been with me as my business has grown to six figures and sqaurespace has handled it like a champ. Just waiting on batch order fulfillment, wink wink.

THE APP IS 100% USELESS!!!
I’ve been using Squarespace for years. This app is consistently glitchy. It’s 100% impossible to update it on the app. It crashes and freezes every time. Incredibly frustrating to do anything! THE APP IS USELESS
Doesn’t work on iOS 13
Great app on android 16, on my tablet. iOS on the other hand, sucks on this particular device.
Crashes and restarts from the slightest site edits. Also, desktop editing on mobile is completely unusable, so I don’t even try.

Square POS
Apparently Squarespace has had issues with the Bluetooth connecting to Square readers for years and has not bothered to fix it. I just made the switch because from everything I read it was supposed to be a smooth integration, but sadly it is not. Do not waste your time if you need to actually be able to ring up point of sale inventory. Really disgusted that Squarespace is offering this product knowing full well that it is not working properly. I wish I could get a refund for all of the hours I have spent trying to make this work

I have used squarespace 10+ years for my portfolio and jewelry business! Their app continues to get better and better. I use it daily and have never had any issues!
Very glitchy!
The app rarely works for me. I have been modifying website on computer and it works fine. When I go to edit or view my website on phone, the page keeps refreshing, followed by blank white screen. If I click on new page tab it just keep cycling different screen until I cannot choose anything. I have to keep closing the app and open it back up, but haven’t got it to work for more than 10 seconds.

How to transfer?
Is there a way to transfer my funds to my bank within the app? I don’t see a dedicated transfer button like there is in the desktop site.

This app crashes all the time now. Opening a page, boom - crash. It didn’t use to do that.

Extremely slow
The site is soooooooo slow on desktop and iPad. I’ve invested so much time and energy into getting my domain transferred and creating a site so I’m not going to switch sites until my domain expires next year but I would not recommend using squarespace at all.
Buggy…
For an app that’s made to help build a website it’s too glitchy and buggy. VERY frustrating! Currently can’t even delete or add to my drop downs because the box won’t scroll down. This is one of many issues….
USELESS!!
App doesn’t work for anything. Can’t upload photos. Keeps randomly changing pages when you even try to view a gallery. I’m not even trying to design anything. Just adding photos to galleries and it’s pointless. May 2026. I keep coming back to see if they’ve fixed any of this but no. Such a waste.
