this app made me change banks
this was the most frustrating suncorp interaction i’ve ever faced and trust me being with a bank like them.. i’ve had my fair share.
every single code it gave me did not correlate correctly. i tried many times, refreshed, different devices, to different accounts. nothing. I have opted to change banks than even attempt to call suncorp and waste a day of my life to get no solution.

App not working
The app has logged me out and saying that when I log in, I don’t have a token set up. I have tried on two different phones to login, set the PIN, deregister old token, and then it redirects me to login and repeat the process again. I had to delete the app and redownload it for it to fully register, but we shouldn’t have to do that.

beyond terrible
will not allow the app to be deactivated on a previous phone - error - try again later - and wont allow installation on a new phone untill old one is deactivated - frustrating and uselesss
Doesn’t work
Trying to accept the code sent doesn’t work on iPhone 17, continue button hidden below keypad and inactive when you try to slide it up. Customer service advise turning phone on and off and re installing the app maybe 3rd time lucky

I created an account and used my password successfully on both the web portal and the standard Suncorp Banking app. However, when I tried to log into the Suncorp Secured App with the exact same credentials, it repeatedly told my password was invalid.
After several lengthy troubleshooting sessions and phone calls, I was eventually told that the Secured App, and only this app, does not accept passwords longer than 16 characters.
There are two major issues with this. First, the error message is misleading. My password wasn’t invalid; it was simply too long. A clear error message would have saved a lot of wasted time and frustration.
Second, the irony isn’t lost on me that the app specifically marketed as the “secured” app requires a shorter password than the other banking platforms. Restricting password length in 2026 feels outdated and runs contrary to modern security best practices.
The support staff were helpful once the issue was identified, but the app’s password limitations and poor error handling made for a frustrating experience.

Abhorrent, doesn’t work
Log in to the app and then takes me back to the log in page. Can’t log into bank anywhere now. Terrible.

Frustrating, terrible app and a complete waste of time. Only need to hold the payment. Just ridiculous. I will not be banking with suncorp in the future
What is the point of this app?
This app is entirely useless. Login, input the code from the text, create a new pin. Loading screen…. back to the login page. Again, and again, and again. And yet my Suncorp banking app won’t allow me to login without the token code from this stupid app!! It is literally useless and I am certainly close to just ditching Suncorp altogether. What is the point if I can’t access my accounts?!

As per usual Suncorp solutions this also doesn't work and constantly takes you back to the first part once you've entered all the information and just repeats itself. Meaning I also can't log into the normal app without this! Frustrating

Doesn't accept a password I JUST used to log into the main banking app. Made a new password, didn't accept the new one either. Absolutely unacceptable. Both passwords were copied straight from a password manager so I'm confident it wasn't an error on my end.
Rubbish
Every time I try to log in it asks me to enter a new pin. When I do so it says this may overwrite a previous registration but there is no other option available so I do so. I am immediately returned to the log in screen and get to do it all again in a continuous loop. At no time am I able to access the code I need to make a payment from my account. Worst experience ever

Can't confirm code
I'm having trouble with confirming the code to log in. The app will not let me confirm as the keypad is always in the way. Please help!
Worst bank app
The app if you request an estatement does not put name or address on the statement. It also exports the data in ridiculous formats not useable read without exporting the data then saving as CVS then changing to excel. So 3 steps instead of one

Outdated
It’s 2025. All other bank Apps provide the OTP functionality through their main app. Either integrate this into your main app or allow people to use third party OTP generators such as Apple Passwords or Google Auth.
Great Security App
It was confusing at first. I called the customer service and after they explained to me how it works, I think it’s a great app to add an extra layer of security for your account!!
