Sunflower

I downloaded Sunflower in the beginning of my journey to quit smoking for good. I had quit smoking 21 years ago when I had my kids and then when my son was little but not too little I started back to smoking and to this day I wish I’d never picked them up again because I lost so much on seeing them grow up and or watching them do the things that they loved doing but instead I smoked cigarettes and had to step away just to smoke a cigarette. I grew up around smokers and have had loved ones die because they smoked. My last cigarette for the rest of my life was last May 2025. The year prior to that I had lost my oldest cousin to cancer. Our grandfather died of cancer in 2000. I had an uncle die of cancer in 2018, a great aunt die of cancer in 2019. So smoking and cancer ran through both sides of my family. Both of my parents smoke as well. Hence why I started smoking and not only that my friends smoked. I so wish I had never started but I did and I finally decided to quit for good. Using sunflower helped me but I also forgot I had downloaded the app. I eventually found some of the breath link devices off of Facebook and started wearing those around my neck. I’ve actually broke the chain on the first two but I have another one around my next and I wear it daily. I not only used it to help with the urges of quitting smoking but I also use it for anxiety attacks. My journey of being smoke free has been amazing and I never want to go back to smoker ever again. I want to be able to see my kids go through college and get married and have kids of their own someday.

Amazing App To Help Overcome Addictions

I was very hesitant about using an app to help me to get sober and especially to stay sober. But this app really surprised me! It is the most helpful tool in my day to day life that has actually worked for me. I have been clean and sober for 60 days from c*ke, alcohol, and cr*ck which I used for years. This app makes you feel like you are more than just some addict; but a real person with feelings going through an extremely difficult time, and it helps in so many different ways. I would recommend this app to anyone that’s trying to get sober! :)

Very helpful

As title states I’ve found Sunflower to be quite helpful. The daily check ins, the lessons section and being able to connect with others in similar situations had been great.

Great App

Really good, it helps to stay accountable and checks in everyday. You can either speak in a group or with the AI about your feelings and cravings and it helps you work through them and not use again. You get a daily sunflower for staying sober each day and can literally watch your plants grow as you stay sober each day
