You can only use Swtch chargers by paying $20 in advance and having your account automatically top up when it hits $5.
Need Face ID for iOS
Great app, but when I stop to charge and open the app I always have to enter email and password. It would be nice to have Face ID enablement option so I can initiate my charging session faster.

Nobody replies in this app. It’s been more than a year, chargers at CEDARBRAE MALL SCARBOROUGH are not working. And honestly this company don’t give damn about it.

This is honestly the worst app I’ve ever used. I already turned off auto-renewal, but it’s still charging my card and I have no idea why.
Every time I try to charge, it asks for a $100 deposit. If I decline, it says I have an outstanding balance—even though my wallet still shows $20. It makes zero sense.

Pre-loaded wallets needs to go
This is the most stupid requirement of this app. To constantly keep a balance and when it drops below 5 to reload automatically what a scam. What if someone just needed to use it once. This doesn’t make sense just change it to pay per use or give an option to turn it off for guests or infrequent users.

Charged at on if their stations, they charged me 15/hr for a delivery 5kwh. That’s insane plus 10/hr parking fee.
Total garbage
If you need support you will talk to this really dumb AI who laughs at you if you ask for a live person. The charger shows it is available but the app is not working to connect with the charger and you can only get to talk to the AI. Multiple chargers have the same error. 🤷🏻

Always updating
I have a charger that I can start by using this app or by tapping a plastic card. Using this app quite often means leaving the garage to find wifi, update the app, login….
Tapping the card is 10 times faster. Shouldn’t the app be a new better thing???

Illegal practice
New update is so predatory. It auto reloads $20 when your account balance drops below $5. And you cannot turn this off. SWTCH is banking people’s money unethically.
Find another charger
These are the most unreliable chargers you will find. They rarely work. Often they are placed in underground parking lots that have no signal so you won’t find out it doesn’t work until you’ve left and tried to activate it.
After dozens of different Switch chargers have failed to work, I will never use them again and will be writing to ensure no public funding is used to install them.

downloaded this application at a garage to charge vehicle - does not work - kept refreshing and charging me 60$ 2 times.

Auto load scam
Changing the auto load from 0 to $5 is nothing short of a scam.

Swtch was one of the top charging platforms, and it used to be pretty good…. But recently most of them are not working or doesn’t charge, not sure what happened with you guys !
Broken chargers and guest fees
All switch chargers require your email address or else guest fees are charged. The app requires a “balance”.
4 of the 8 chargers at the station I’m at are broken but not marked. There’s no way to pay for charging without the app and without giving the app my information.

Works but bad
Had to recreate account with new app update. Uses declining balance, so it ate my previous $10 and wants to overcharge me by however much in $10 increments. Asked for completely unnecessary information to charge.

Theoretically smart but charger do not work
I have been using Swtch for about six months now. It is theoretically a smart solution that allows you to charge outside the home. Unfortunately, my experience has been that 25-50% of their chargers do not work. I have had to call support 5-6 times already and most of the time they are unable to help. 50% of their chargers near my work do not work at all. It took them 3 months to fix
