New app is a giant step back. It will make you long for that explosive diarrhea.
NO FRESCO-STYLE: Taco Bell hates vegans!
They removed the button for Fresco-style that removes dairy products and replaces them with pico de gallo (the dirt-cheap blend of freeze-dried onions, tomatoes and cilantro bits). Bring back FRESCO!

The new app design is bad and makes I hard to navigate.
What a downgrade
The mobile redesign is significantly less user-friendly, the keyboard somehow got worse, and why remove a search bar? This looks and feels like slop.

Horrible update
This new app is absolutely awful. Why break something that isn’t broken. The old app was easy to use and made ordering easy. If it’s hard for me to order through the app AND more expensive to order in the store why would I even eat here?
Update Sucks
For some reason, Taco Bell decided that having the easiest to use app with the best rewards and customer service wasn’t worth it anymore and decided to throw it all away. The app looks worse, is significantly harder to navigate, is much slower, and doesn’t even function properly.
It kept sending me to the wrong Taco Bell despite attempting to change it multiple times, it was much more difficult to find the items that I wanted to add to my order and much of the app looks like it was designed to emulate something like Apple Music, but in the process it makes many buttons not function the way you think they would, adding more and more time to the process of just making your order. Why are we picking style over function for a simple food app? I’m not gonna use the app anymore if it stays like this, I’ll just get food somewhere else.

Careful selecting menu items
The drink size defaults to the regular size on the menu but when you tap it the size changes to a large so you might accidentally pay $4.19 instead of $1 if you don’t switch it back on the second screen

The new update is terrible
Like the title says. The new version looks terrible, the layout is awful, and interacting with it is the opposite of satisfying. Also now it costs $1 for chips instead of cinnamon twists. It’s straight robbery.
Update destroyed app
The new update to this app made the user experience worse in every possible way it looks worse and ordering food it more difficult now this is the opposite of what an update to your app should be doing.
Redesign is awful
The redesign makes me not want to order. It is so much more cumbersome and inconvenient to use. Also appears to have removed some customization options which makes me less likely to order Taco Bell. The extra steps and layout are a real problem

SLOW Images, App Update is a UI mess/No ApplePay
I am on a iPhone 13Mini & the app is so huge it’s uneasy to navigate. Images are slow to load. No Apple Pay either. I have purchased a ton from Taco Bell but this app update is so bad that I don’t want to even purchase Taco Bell anymore since the app is a huge road block!! Please Fix!!

First off, I love Taco Bell. But there’s one thing missing from Taco Bell that I haven’t been able to forget nor will I EVER forget. The Steak and Poblano Rolled Quesadilla, sent straight from heaven. It didn’t taste like anything else on the menu, it wasnt a different combo of the same 5 ingredients (remember i’m still a sucker for all that stuff) it was its own unique entity. Its own unique delicacy. It was beautiful. PLEASE TACO BELL CEO BRING IT BACK!!!! and not just for a limited time😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

What happened
Hey Taco Bell uhhh why am I not able to put my address into the delivery part of the app? It just glitches and asks me to put the address in again. I’ve ordered perfectly fine on here multiple times but this new update is not allowing me to. I just want some Taco Bell dang. It’s too expensive on DoorDash. Pretty upsetting.

Now instead of needing 250 points for a freebie, you need 364. Now you gotta pay more money on already more overpriced food from this place that we all know used to be so much more justified in price. Corporate greed knows no bounds. Plus the update is awful.

Payment Issues
Ever since I had this app I have only been allowed to pay with Venmo. It does not work when I try to pay with my debit or credit card. I can get credit back with purchases so this has lost me some money overtime. I don’t understand how this can’t be fixed in over a year now.
