All pizzazz but bad functionality
I really dislike these new updates. You guys took a very solid dependable app, dressed it up in a tuxedo and flashy things, and then made it forget to walk and talk.
It’s a mess.
Add rewards? Can’t. Because somehow a mysterious 0.40 reward, that you can’t get rid of, is automatically added & blocking it.
Want to order multiple subs or the same description? Can’t do that either because it’s forgot how to count. Says 3 in one box, but thinks it’s 2.
Want to modify the ingredients? Nope. This idiotic app lands you in the “add sides menu” that if you don’t want a side won’t let you move forward and if you cancel forgets what you just ordered.
And finally when taking payment claims it can’t process the transaction.
Why? Who knows.
I spent 15 mins trying to order 3 subs on the 3SUB promo with all different approaches and was then suddenly able to get it to work but good luck landing back on the right order for the future.
I used the app all the time for years so I’m no novice, but someone in Subway’s development team needs to realize they’re not in grade 4 arts and crafts work experience project anymore, and have to pursue function over form if they want to keep customers.

Duplicate Charges to Card
It tried placing an order with this app, and when I went to pay it kept saying something went wrong and order failed.
Turns out my credit card was still getting charged and they only refunded half of the total amount. I had to open a dispute with my CC company to get all of the funds back.
I went to the store and they confirmed they never received my order. MAJOR BUG

Constantly updating
I love the deals they give, but subway is always updating their app. The app constantly logs me out and never let's me log back in seriously a problem. I love Subway but I never get to build up my points due to me always being kicked out.
Old App won't load anymore
Used to work. Clicked to open it and now it doesn't work. Deleted and reinstalled and nothing. New version requires iOS 18. I'm on iOS 17. Feels like I only haven't updated for a year or 2. Doesn't seem like my iOS is old enough to stop being supported.
