Teladoc is so convenient

Always kind and usually short waiting room time

This app and service is great and very beneficial but I will be noting my one problem with the company because people should be aware of what could occur if they choose to use this very useful service. Long story short I had a lot of back and forth with the legal department and they don’t seem to care about facts and will close your account based in false accusations for seemly no reason at all.

Most incompetent care

I received some of the most incompetent care of my life through Teladoc. When you know, you have a true kidney infection and not a bladder infection and the doctors continue to prescribe you something that will not treat a kidney infection. Even a simple Google search could tell you it’s the wrong medication after three visits with this Teladoc and they are unable to provide an adequate prescription and refused to give a refund even though they did absolutely nothing thank God for a MinuteClinic at CVS. It’s the only reason I’m probably still alive. Save yourself the hassle and the time and find a different place to get care. Teladoc is not the place to go

Quick to see a doctor but doctors vary in personality

Had a quick, easy appointment but the doctor was rude and dismissive about my questions. He diagnosed the issue quickly though. It would be nice to able to ask for a female doctor. I was also told over a call that I’d have to likely pay 10 dollars max for an appointment but instead I had to pay 70 dollars. But hey that’s American healthcare for you!

Disappointed communication and customer service

After over a 45 minute conversation being put on hold to only get transferred to a pharmacy like that got me nowhere I had to write this review. The Provider I spoke to over the phone during my visit gave me an instruction after less than 10 minutes of a conversation. “Go to the drugstore, pick up a urinalysis kit, take the test and call me back. How can I call and get you? I said. “Just call and they will put you in touch with me.” First off, there is no number to call, I had to google search your number. Second, the person who answered the call in customer service could not help me. So.. after 45 minutes of being on the phone with him, he transferred me to a pharmacy line. I had no other option than to make yet another telehealth visit. So.. now I’m going to be charged for 2 visits!!! Educate and train your providers! Train your customer service team. Both lack the knowledge to support your members!

Worst food tracker I’ve ever used.

The food app randomly causes crashes. At time entering data that had already had a preset, it will choose random items to lose information on and to enter you have to complete close and reopen the app for the item to generate and be deleted. Makes this tedious process even more tedious.

Better than Urgent Care

I’m so glad that I have Teladoc, Health, the video visits are more detailed to me than Urgent Care, and the Doctors don’t seem to be trying to rush you to get to the next patient.

Doesn’t share data with Apple Health

I was really surprised when I realized this app does not share weight and blood pressure data with the Apple Health app. I’m tempted to go back to my old scale just for this reason since it’s a pain to manually enter the data. Please consider adding this capability.

Terrible app and customer service

Trying to simply reset my password takes forever links don’t work customer service with a live agent didn’t even get it resolved impossible to use

Extremely helpful!!

I am very grateful for this service. Usually I’m able to connect to a provider within minutes and receive a prescription for my problem in less than a total wait time of 10 minutes!! It’s amazing to be able to avoid waiting for days or sometimes even weeks to be seen by my primary provider for a problem that will be resolved by the time I’m seen!! For small issues that you need fixed quickly, Teladoc is a life saver!! 10/10 would recommend to everyone seeking a stress free and efficient solution to your small issues.

Absolute Dumpster Fire

Teladoc doesn’t remember your login information, despite all efforts to save it. When you change insurance providers, you have to make an entirely new account. For people who change jobs, this is a nightmare. Almost every time I log in, it asks me to verify my address and has an old one in place. I don’t know how many times I’ve updated information, asked to remember login, or verified insurance member numbers, but this app is completely incapable of remembering those details. It sucks.

Our physician was quick and loving!

Terrible!

I just got a call from the Teladoc provider. She sounded like she was in a tunnel and I couldn’t understand anything she was saying. Then she told me her computer froze up and she couldn’t retrieve my information. And then I got cut off. I sure hope I’m not charged for that visit.

Terrible

This app is incredibly buggy, it drops the video for visits constantly, the messaging feature is incredibly difficult to use, and I frequently get server errors while using it. It really feels like they have one developer working on the app.

Best NP Ever!!!

The telehealth NP was spot on, provided excellent care and was very knowledgeable!

Not so good

The doctor barely listened to what I had to say. She didn’t want to know about my medical history and just said “Go see your doctor”.

1st Choice of Care - Then see your Doc.

I’ve used this a few times once while I was on vacation for an eye infection. It works great. And it’s no cost if you have insurance course. Really should be your go to.
