The app is never a “current usage” view and there isn’t anywhere to see what your max usage is. Worthless.
Terrible
This app and palmettos servers are utter garbage. Constantly having connectivity issues. Don’t display accurate solar production. Constantly need to uninstall and reinstall app and even then it only works half the time.
The App Is Slow And Unoptimized
This is the first time in a while I’ve ever seen an app drop in frame rate even with an 120hz screen. Plus, I’m using an iPhone 17 Pro Max. Progress on my solar panels hasn’t been updated since it’s up and running for 2 days now. Another solar app I use showed my progress instantly. No excuse.
Not reliable
For the past two weeks the data has lagged one day behind the current date. On occasions the entire dataset is blank. This past week the battery data is unavailable at times.
App problems
I have had an alert for over 3 months. I have restarted the system many times. Now, the App does not show the daily generation. For some reason it displays yesterday’s generations. The app is becoming useless.
When it works, it’s great. But.
Never updates. Literally have to delete the app and add again/log in anew for it to update. Their customer service bots are generally ineffectual. Not a fan.
Great app
A good looking app that helps me track my homes energy. I also like the daily quizzes!

The app is awful
The app says that my system is working properly, however shows no production for over a week. I don’t know what is correct. Twice over the past few months the app said there was a problem with my system. Palmetto customer service was so slow in getting to the point of scheduling a site visit that my system resolved the problem on its own. As such, I don’t know if I have a system problem, an app problem or both. The previous version of the app worked well.

Notifications do not work!
My system has gone down twice for several days and the app has not sent notifications of a critical outage to me. All of my notifications are set up properly and I receive nothing from palmetto. My husband is having the same issue. This needs to be addressed as we have lost out on 2 weeks of solar due to not being notified that there was an issue.

Watch out who sells u a “cheaper bill guaranteed” 😂 solar guy will tell u what u wanna hear. Run the numbers and read the contract correctly. Winter u won’t make a lot of electricity. Summer u might it depends. (:
Terrible
It wasn’t bad especially since my system hasn’t gone live yet. Yesterday went check any updates when it would be completed. It said update the app. I did and now the app doesn’t work at all! Very poor IT
Garbage
Double and triple check your auto pay. Signed up for it and it returned the payment without any notification then charged a late fee. Then when I’m told I have a late fee and have to pay extra for not having autopay, they tell me I am signed up for autopay. And yet I have to pay extra for not being signed up. The most frustrating thing I’ve had to deal with since mediacom.

App Failing, Support Failing
My account billing started in August 2025, but I still can’t see any solar production for the system. When I reach out to member services, they keep saying they’ll connect me with another department, yet nothing has been resolved. I’ve spent multiple hours on this with no outcome, and it’s extremely frustrating.

New app
Is surprisingly useful, I can see it becoming more helpful as it gets better. The weekly insights are actually helpful.
No customer service
I had this system installed. Four weeks after installation they have still not performed an inspection and signed off on the permit.
I cannot contact a live representative to obtain an update on any statuses. Contact telephone numbers are no longer in service.
This is the worse customer service that I have experienced for a long time.

Horrible product
They charged me $600 to replace a fuse. Now my system is broken again and assuming it will be $600 more.
$600 every time they have to come to your home. Absolute ripoff as the system only lasted a year.

App is lacking in so many ways
When my system was installed, I was given the MySolarEdge app. This app is extraordinary compared to Palmetto. Now they’ve blocked access and will only let me use this app.
Just a few quick issues.
1. The graphs don’t have labels. It’s hard to tell what a bar chart means without context
2. There is no view of current generation. You only see totals by hour. With the other app, I can see exactly what is coming in at any time
3. No ability to refresh the usage without choosing a different day, then coming back to today.
This really isn’t a monitoring tool.
Just a few quick issues.
