Sound issues
I work for a small tow company and I have been in the industry for eight years. I have used both Dispatch anywhere and now using Towbook personally, I do like Towbook a little bit better but lately I have ran into an issue where the notification sound for the Towbook app does not sound anymore. In fact I don’t get any notification of when I get a call. I thought it may be my phone. I made sure everything was updated. I made sure everything on the phone end was turned on to the point it would allow sound and I still have not been able to get sound back when specifically dealing with this app I don’t know what the issue is, but if it could be addressed and fixed, and that would be much appreciated

Getting close
The app is pretty good, I would still like to be able to look at photos while you’re editing the call. Also, if the app would save your times that you go in route or go on scene, even though you don’t have service, just save it and then upload it after would be great and for the love of God get rid of that stupid 😢 that shows up every time you try to complete the call and you’ve missed a signature or something that stupid 😢 just utterly ridiculous. Other than that, it’s all right it’s getting better. Keep up the good work. oh yeah, change it so it doesn’t ask for keys every single time where the keys who you receive the keys would you give the keys to? Sometimes there’s no keys involved if I put NA for not applicable then leave it at that. why do I have to still fill out the other two request for where the keys are?

Some suggestions
The app is getting a little better however I have some suggestions. Even when you are out of service the app should save your status updates along with photos and such. Then update itself when back in an area with phone coverage. Some of the required areas of completion are redundant and waste time. Why now do I have to fill out where the keys are as well as who received the keys, and required signatures? When I click N/A I shouldn’t be required to still add names or location of keys. When someone is arrested, I don’t get their signatures before towing their vehicles. Oh yeah, when it asks if I want to go enroute and I click yes, don’t make me click again after it’s gone enroute. App is like “hey, I went enroute after you said go enroute… ok?” Lol

Uploading photos
You take photos using the app, you have it selected to still save to camera roll to be safe, you take 15 photos and hit done, and you don’t see the normal count of photos uploading , you see a non descriptive paper clip icon. That almost always means you lost the photos as they won’t save to your camera roll and won’t upload to the call either.

Notifications
I see all you people complaining about the notification sound must be on ios😂. On android you can choose whatever sound is in your library. Dont get me wrong, the app is pretty trash but take a look at it on android. I promise 🤯. My major issue is that now my towbook (on workphone, ios) will not make a peep. Sounds all the way up and notifications enabled and NADA. The only way I know I have a new job is if I remember to look at my phone every 3 minutes.

Auction tab
I really wish the app was the same across devices. On my iPhone I cannot see the auction tab but it shows on android devices. So glad I can see accounts though!

To quiet
I love the app, but the sounds are much too soft. I lose many jobs because I cannot hear the chime go off. I can’t seem to find any way to change the tone or change the volume also does not ring persistent it needs to stay on like an alarm clock
Towbook is awesome!
Not sure why the rating is so low. Towbook is an awesome tool for the tow industry. Definitely worth every penny.

Great if it worked
Constant issues, the more they add the more issues the app has. Back in 18/19 there was never issues. Now it’s multiple times a month. Don’t invest your business down this app

“Starting Today” they advertised on social media , FB , IG I had Waze app open to see it all, on a accident call , arrived on scene checked Waze app and nothing. These Companies DO NOT Care about us. Publicity Stunt indeed. “Starting today” LIES!!!
Sounds
I used to have a Samsung phone and was able to change the alert tone switched to iPhone and now I can’t do it why make it different
Recent iOS issues
I am running the new IOs26 and I get consistent TLS errors I never had, issues uploading and receiving calls etc. seems there is an issue with the new iOS version! I would not update iOS until patches are made.
Ads say it’s the best app for such jobs but it’s not that good
Deletes inputs, freezes 80% of times i open the camera, Deletes uploads occasionally
Great app
Only doing 4 stars since the app isn’t carplay compatible nor does the notification sound come through carplay along with digital dispatches accept and decline screen getting in the way, would do 5 stars if it was compatible though along with other ui improvements.

How about anything that tells you, how to use the app? I now, know why it has a low rating in the App Store
