Mi opinión

Es la peor de todas es muchas millas por pocos dólares 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

Tier system ruining app!

Now with this tier system if you declined too much too many orders you don’t want you get no offers when you’re low and they are all bad when I do. How can I ever get my tier up if I’m receiving offers that are bad and/or not Receiving any offers at all?! I don’t get why they have to keep changing things it should have just been left alone the tier system is so bad! I miss using this app how I used to I was constantly busy and always moving now I get absolutely nothing!

Not working

I’ve signed up, all my paperwork is turned in and approved. Yet, when I attempt to go online, an error message appears. I’ve been on the phone with customer service, I’ve gone back and forth with the chat service, with multiple people. All of them have a different excuse/reason I cannot go online.
And some even claim they don’t see issues, and told me it appears I can go online.

This very frustrating. The process seemed painless. But the problems seem to be endless.

Do DoorDash instead

The support team for Uber has been the worst support team I’ve ever had to contact. They do nothing but read from a script and don’t offer any actual support but will hang up on you in the chat over and over instead of transferring you or actually providing any assistance. It is far easier to cancel a cable bill in America than it is to get anything out of Uber support.

Destination mode is not working

I write requests many times to uber support that my destination mode is not working but they are not responding to my queries.

I enjoy driving for uber

I like driving for people and helping my community out whenever, I do think the pay for blue members is kinda sad. I miss my gold and diamond status; I love the benefits starting in my gold status, I think it correlates to how often your on the app and driving for them as well. My account recently got hacked and I’ve been settling a dispute with them. Other then that I love uber

Use Spark instead

You better hope the store is open because they do not care how long you drive to get there, they pay you nothing. Legal theft.

Location

You have a very bad location

Inhumane cancellation policy and terrible UX

I used to really like this app until they started aggressively counting cancellations that are out of my control against me. In one incident, my car overheated after picking up (3) orders and I couldn’t complete the deliveries. I immediately contacted support and told them what had just happened. They promised that it wouldn’t affect my cancellation rate if they canceled it. Well, they lied. Not only did they count it against me, they also sent me a report. Keep in mind that one of the orders I picked up was a courier package, and I even coordinated with the Sender to meet me at the spot my car broke down so that I can give the package back to her (because Uber support couldn’t figure out how to resolve this issue and get another driver to come it up). Anyway, they still counted the cancellations against me and threatened to deactivate me. Almost a week later, Uber support asked for proof that I fixed my car and I sent them the repair receipt document. They still haven’t removed the report. This is just one of many unfair cancellations they are now counting against drivers recently.

They even count it against you when you go to pick up an order and it has already been picked up by someone else. Or when you go to pick up an order and the restaurant cannot make the order because they ran out of stock. Or if a courier package sender refuses to come out and meet you after Uber’s own on-screen timer runs out. The app literally shows you a pop up with the option to cancel the delivery if the package sender doesn’t show up to hand you the order after the onscreen time has run out; yet they still count it against me. It doesn’t even matter if you contact support or not, they will still count these as cancellations against you. This is terrible UX. Whose idea was this? I understand that they are trying to cut down on drivers stealing food, but what this is doing is actually punishing good drivers. It’s not a hard problem to solve.

The worse part is, after I received those two reports for doing the right thing when my car broke down, they sent me threatening emails about deactivating my account. I will NOT live in fear with the threat of deactivation over my head for doing the right thing. I’m giving myself 30 days to figure something else out, and say goodbye to these inhumane, terrible people.

Misleading “guaranteed” tips

Do not download this app, they will scam you out your money!!

Do better

The longer you drive for them the less money you make, the first year you will get all the good rides but after that you will be driving 14 hours a day just to make it

App needs major improvements

So I’ve been doing Uber for about 3 years now and it seems the scam rides are getting worse. I had a ride request from a “Gabby” on a Tuesday. I arrived at the location and it was off the side of the highway, so I was thinking the person had car trouble. Luckily, I was able to get to a safe location. Two. People walked by at different points and I thought one of them was the rider, but nope. I waited and got the $3.99 because it was extremely slow that day.

Fast forward to Thursday. It’s another slow morning and I get a request from a “Gabby” again. At this point I didn’t pick up on it because some riders have the same names. I’m nearing the pickup location and I notice the pin is in a body water. From experience I know time won’t start if you’re not near the pin, so I cancelled the ride. About an hour later I get another request from “Gabby.” You know the names don’t show up when you accept a ride. So I start driving the destination again and it’s at the same spot that I had the request for on Tuesday on the side of the highway, but this time the pin was in a grassy area that I couldn’t reach. I canceled before I got to the pickup.

It’s really ridiculous that Uber hasn’t figured out a way to pickup on these rides that have the pin in locations that the driver can’t reach. When we can’t reach those pins time doesn’t start and we don’t get paid for waiting. When I did Lyft, they had that feature to where if you couldn’t reach a destination you could click a button and say “can’t reach pickup” location. There’s no reason that app shouldn’t be able to tell that you can reach a spot in the middle of a lake.

My other gripe is the “confirm identify” feature on the app. In 3 of my last 5 rides I’ve had to confirm my identity. One was the previous before I went home to rest. I got back up around noon to drive the next day and when I logged on it said confirm your identity. I confirmed my identity, then I got a request and went to pickup the person 4 minutes from my house. I took them to their destination, and then I had another pickup real close. I dropped the second person off and looked at my phone to see why I wasn’t getting requests. It again said confirm your identity with a photo. So in the span of maybe 25 minute I had to confirm my identity twice. It’s getting really ridiculous that I’m having to do this so frequently. There’s gotta be an easier way to do this.

Scammers !!!

I hate Uber Delivery . It’s nothing but modern-day slave labor. Orders in Jersey City pay just $1.50–$3.00!!! I’m so glad they got sued in New York! They should be sued in every state. They’re constantly deceiving drivers—you accept a $10 order, and in the end you get paid only $3!!!

They will take you for a fool

$2 offer for going across the city and back, refuse it and they will bundle it with another and offer again, refuse again and now your acceptance rate has dropped 2%. These offers come everytime you are 2 blocks away from destination, leaving you to decide within 10 seconds otherwise you’ll miss your turn. Actually insulting and predatory practices. It used to be great, they would offer incentives the fare was fair, now it is a fight of you vs the algorithm. Accept low paying offers and that’s all you get, accept high distance offers and that’s all you get, accept everything and get nothing in return. The timing and pricing of most offers is straight up insulting. I guess with everything, the fall off is inevitable.

Unfair driver app

Uber why do I keep getting sent orders from locations like McDonald’s when the store is closed in my area? On multiple occasions, I’ve been sent orders to McDonald’s in Sarasota, Florida and drivers keep marking the store is closed, but Uber refuses to cancel and allows customers to keep placing orders all through the night. this isn’t just McDonald’s. This is other locations, but this is just an example of the stuff we have to go through on top of the low pay imagine waiting all day for an order and then going to a store that is closed with no pay for driving to the location.
