An intrusive freight app with plummeting rates, phantom discrepancies, and constant surveillance
One of the most immediate roadblocks is that you can’t even open the application unless you grant continuous access to your location. Demanding constant, 24/7 location permissions—even when you aren't using the app, off-duty, or running loads completely unrelated to Uber Freight—crosses a major privacy line. Treating professional drivers with this level of background surveillance just to check the load board is completely unacceptable.
To make matters worse, carriers frequently run into maddening rate discrepancies between what is advertised on traditional load boards like DAT and what actually populates inside the Uber Freight app. You spot a lane on DAT looking somewhat viable, only to log into the app and find a drastically lower rate or conflicting details, turning the search into a frustrating guessing game.
When you do encounter issues, getting any meaningful help is an uphill battle. The customer service experience is notoriously hollow, often leaving drivers stuck in automated loops or dealing with support reps who can't resolve facility delays, detention, or payment discrepancies.
When you factor in low margins, mismatched rate postings, a complete lack of responsive customer support, and the invasive requirement to keep your location wide open 24/7, the app feels less like a partnership tool and more like an overreaching tracking mechanism. Save yourself the headache and look to more transparent, respectful platforms for your freight.

Sucks
Useless
Communication is another big problem. Many of the reps don’t understand basic English, which makes it very hard to explain urgent load issues. When you’re dealing with time-sensitive freight, this kind of communication gap is unacceptable.
We do our job as a carrier, but it feels like they don’t support drivers or respect our time. This is not the first time this has happened, and it’s getting worse.
Overall, very disappointing experience. Carriers deserve better transparency, better communication, and fair detention pay.
Also fake reviews from there own works from other countries
Cheapest & not in favor small trucking
Overall quality of app is a “D-“
-Loads Type- F, all loads are max out on weight and take forever to unload at receivers
-Detention Pay- F, uber freight will do anything possible to keep from paying out detention or TONU
-App it’s self- B, very user friendly and easy to manage but the location tracker will glitch out most times which will cause issues regarding loads

Bad Coustmor service
Just a messenger…
They even can’t approve the paperwork in one day or two sometimes.
Usually it takes 4-5 days to get paid. But expect whole week if you get unloaded on Thursday.
Documents approved on Monday and plus 2 days after that. Expect to get paid on Thursday or even Friday.
