Rubbish service
Water pressure in Blundellsands Crosby has been dreadful for six weeks. Still not fixed. I contacted the Chief Executive of United Utilities. Receipted a phone call from an advisor. She let me know there was an issue with a faulty pressure valve. Won’t be fixed until 6 July. Promised to call back with updates, still waiting for the call two weeks later. No communication whatsoever
from United Utilities. In breach of Water Act 1971. Disgraceful way to treat customers that have just had bills increased by almost 60%!

Customer care
Terrible
Disappointing
I had hoped this app would hold all information related to my account but it doesn’t. I cannot see my bills and monthly usage. The bill comes on paper the monthly usage comes as an email so I still manage my account with monthly manual readings and a spreadsheet to check I am not overpaying. Come on united utilities get your act together.

Estimated bills
Even though they installed meters and change them regularly they decide to bill me on estimates and don’t even let me view the bill to contest it. Awful customer service
UU’s cost me £100’s
They lie. Took me almost a year to finally get a meter fitted due to their lazy, unknowledgeable staff (contractors). That delay cost me about £600. They over charge. They supposedly fitted a “smart meter”, yet they are estimating my bill?!!They take money even when you’re very much in credit, but even 4 days after taking your DD, it doesn’t show on your account.
Awful company. I am currently almost £100’in credit, almost £600 over-charged but cannot speak to them or request a refund via this app. It’s an extortionate JOKE!

Expensive scam company with rubbish systems
I used to live in a house with unlimited water, meaning I could use as much as I wanted for £35 I moved into our new home where I've certainly used alot less water and I'm now paying £65 per month, almost double what I paid on "unlimited" how does that make any logical sense???? And now cause they want to scam me I'm not allowed to have this meter removed to go back to unlimited, absolute scam of a company, also your online system and app are useless, I have more options with a stick of butter.

Best Service
I arrived home to find a damaged water meter and no water. I called customer service and within 3 hours my service was restored. Both the gentleman on the service desk and the engineer were very helpful patient and understanding.
Terrible app
2026, can’t save credit card details, don’t have Apple Pay, main website don’t accept Firefox as a browser… company is archaic.
NHS worker Salford
I have had issues for last two days during the heatwave where the temp reaches over 30 degrees with no water yes NO WATER for two whole days no drinking water cannot wash cannot flush toilet taps are run dry because of the heatwave apparently it’s vandals with the hydrants but there should be things
Put in place where only engineers have access to these hydrants. It’s essential to have clean water for food drinking and washing but no I had none for two whole days and when I tried to contact the water board thru the app it was closed for maintenance it’s disgusting and unfair .

Payment options
Tries to force you into direct debit by not making payment options easy,, having to enter full card details each time with no option of saving them
Pointless
Can’t set up direct debit, request a water meter, every form of contact is a phone number negating the point of the app beyond paying the extraordinarily expensive bill. It’s treble the amount I paid before I moved to their service area. Scum.
Review
Would make life a lot easier if you could store payment details instead of having to re enter them every time
Izabela
It always logged me with face ID, after new uodate it's asking me for 6 digit PIN which I never created. So I clicked "forgotten PIN" and it sends me text with 4 digit security pin which I then input and it just closing the app for me. I tried about 10 times. You need to fix it.
Extra miter
We use less they charge more
Awful App
Updated:
So the response from the developer is to opt into paperless billing to see my bills on the app.
The thing is, I opted for paperless years ago, and have all my bills in the app except the most recent one.
Do your homework before responding.
Pretty useless app, feels like it’s been released just do they can say they’ve got one.
Had a new bill via email 3 weeks ago and it’s still not appeared in the app.
Amateur.

App is pointless
The new app tells you me absolutely nothing other than payment info. It would be more helpful if it provided data regarding usage, waste water and how the water is being used.
Disgusting customer service
Spoken to over the phone like a second class citizen by a young girl who continually tried to speak over me
Payment
They are too expensive I’m alone and they’re coasting me over £300 per month.
