Poorly affects credit
Upgrade although I’ve been paid off for a month now won’t report to the credit bureaus that this account has been paid off Info and early, so it’s affecting negatively on my credit report.

They will slow roll you into a high boost and then discontinue it without warning and with lukewarm reasoning as to why. My credit score actually increased so they basically lie to you about its ceasing availability.

I’ve been baking with Upgrade for years. Yes they might have their up and downs with the verifying ID only and emailing it. I hate that so much instead of just doing it through the app and letting it go but other than that I get my direct deposit early I get payment advances when I need them. Everything is great with them.

Absolute worst
Banking with upgrade has been the ABSOLUTE WORST experience I’ve had with a credit card company. Slashing a credit line of 10,000 dollars to 1000 dollars when I had 200 dollar balance because my credit score went down a few points. Not accepting a check to payoff the current balance of a card because they don’t have the check number. They’re getting the money!!! And making me (the customer) do the leg work to get that number. 4 other companies accepted their checks, but not upgrade. So now I have to do THEIR JOBS. Canceling my account as soon as I get this figured out. UPGRADE IS AN ABSOLUTE CLOWNSHOW!!!

Beware of loan refunds
I canceled my cruise almost a month ago and upgrade still hasn’t refunded me MY money. This is ridiculous. I contacted support and STILL I have not received my refund. This is theft! They will steal your money BEWARE

Thank you to Roman for sorting my problems out.. no thanks to upgrade themselves. I’ve contacted support multiple times. Running around in circles.. Roman stepped up and got my problems figured out all while being professional and nice. He stayed on the phone with me until my payments cleared and got my account unlocked.. that man deserves a raise! Upgrade needs to hire more Roman’s!

Very Inconvenient to not be able to pay using my debit card. I'd rather know when my money is leaving my account.

The fact that I had 1000 credit and in the middle of me paying it off yall dropped my credit limit and over draw me. No one has don’t that but yall and I am closing my account.

Installment Easy
I got to use this app because I wanted to pay my domestic and international business class flights without immediately breaking the bank. I have been using this app for running 4 months now and I have to say, I am enjoying using it.
I can see the different payment plans I have in one easy place in one glance. It also gives me a credit score monitoring estimate, which to me is a nice additional gratitude.
