Every time you have a problem, it’s hard to get it done!
Mom has had this alarm for a while and has run into quite a few problems, such as not being able to get a hold of people when you need them to reset your alarm and how to get a key fab that has no idea how to program. You have to wait to contact somebody to get that done correctly. At this time, I changed my phone. And I’m trying to get my alarm system back on my phone so I can control it. I can’t get to the page where to update my password and have been trying for two weeks now, and hopefully somebody would be able to help with it. This is totally aggravating.

I see there is a punishment for not upgrading to premium service. What about the loyal customers who have been with you from the beginning…
Apparently no longer functional
While they updated equipment, they ignored existing customers. Their only solution is to install the new equipment for hundreds and hundreds of dollars. The original equipment was provided without an additional charge … so good bye Vivint - better and lower cost options on the market now.
Thermostat
The thermostat is constantly going offline. I can’t control the settings. I have to reboot the entire hub to get it working. Terrible.

Have had system for many yrs, and was NEVER given ANY OPPORTUNITY TO UPDATE THE APP.

If I could give no stars I would..pure trash..I have 3 cameras any of them half the time record anything..a guy came banging at my front door with dark clothes on for about 2 minutes then ran off & got in his van in front of my house and went next door to the neighbors house..my wife watched him from one of the windows from the camera from the time he started banging. She went to the front door camera afterwards to see the recording but nothing didn’t even record.

Stopped working
Loved the app when it worked!!! Just stopped working, hasn't worked in weeks. Won’t let me even log back in.
Vivint Classic App
After an iOS update, I was logged out of my Vivint app. When I went to login, I had forgotten my password and then got locked out. I called Vivint customer support and was able to get unlocked and request a new password. When I try to log back in, all I get is the eternal "loading" circle in the middle of a blank screen. It's frustrating that I am unable to access my services in order to arm and disarm remotely.

This App Is horrible
Vivint and Alarm.com have messed this up. I can no longer use the mobile App. They are trying to force e me to spend hundreds of dollars to upgrade to their new equipment. I wish I’d never chose Vivint over 20 years ago
No longer works
This app no longer works on my iPad. I have to access system controls through the web. Not an ideal alternative. I will be looking at other security system options as Vivint customer service has been polite but unable to assist. I can’t be the only customer with this problem. As a side note, the Android app no longer works either. Vivint uses Alarm.com for this “Classic” app and I believe something has broken between these two companies.

Mad as heck
This app has such a delay with everything, here in Chicago it’s 9 degrees outside and the app doesn’t not turn the furnace on according to my settings on the app. I’m definitely counseling in the service.
Unsatisfied
This app is so outdated that it makes me furious. A representative had the nerve to inquire if I wanted to upgrade. REALLy??? The camera is something from the Flintstones age. The mobile app is a joke.
App is worthless
I’m Looking for an alternative to Vivint. App only works half the time. Mostly just spins. I end up having to walk up to the panel. Just not happy with this product
