Nice bikes but can’t park

Bikes are good, but had a nightmare parking. Found a good spot by Primrose hill but it wouldn’t accept. Sent me far away to a new spot. When I arrive it says it’s full. Had to go almost a mile out and walk back to my destination. Sadly the Chinese products (like Alipay bikes) are much better currently.

No parking spots in london bridge

If you use Voi around London Bridge, it is much faster to walk instead or take a Lime/Forest.

Unusable now

This week they hid the parking spots, so you can no longer determine if it's possible to park at your destination. This is ridiculous. The app no longer has any use

No more voi

Expensive as hlll 25£ for an hour?

cant park anywhere

make sure to check whether parking is available at your destination before you rent one of these, unlike Lime or other providers you can't really park anywhere in north / east London with Voi, so practically useless. you can't even pay a fine to end the ride in a no-park zone.

Parking never seems to work

Utter waste of time. Ive parked in legal spots, clearly marked and with other Voi vehicles, but the app doesn’t let me end the ride. This has happened on numerous occasions, all over the city. Im done. Uninstalling the app and never using it again.

The burden of equal redistribution shouldn’t fall on the customer

I really like Voi bikes but it’s unfair to force the customer to park ages away from a spot because it’s full, increase the redistribution throughout the day!!!

Love these

I cannot believe some of the poor reviews here. I absolutely love these bikes in Edinburgh. If I’ve ever had parking issues or unable to find a spot, the chat has helped me to end my ride. I only wish there were more.

Cannot subscribe, getting charged 5x more

They hide the "subscribe" button once you purchase a pay-as-you-go plan. I complained with customer support, they said they were "running an experiment", I told them I was going to mention this in the reviews and 20 mins later they blocked my account. Super shady, avoid like the plague.

Best travel investment

Used this app in Paris after seeing a bunch of bikes in the street. Best investment ever. 0.29 a minute, I spent about $40 for a full day. Would absolutely download again.

Parking & bike quality

I switched to Voi from Lime as I liked the bikes better, and it's cheaper. However, after my phone dropped from the holder on several occasions (and eventually broke) and I found myself in no parking zones many more times than with Lime, I decided it's not worth the price difference. Often times acceleration of the bike was not optimal either.

Careful: unfair pricing

I was riding the Voi bikes with my wife but I was getting charged 3x more. I decided to investigate and it seems the app decides which customer is allowed to pay using Voi Plus. Customer support confirmed this, based on how likely you are to pay more, they hide the Voi Plus option when you unlock a bike. My wife was paying £1.70 for 20 minutes and I was paying £7. This is like supermarkets charging customers different prices for the same items. It feels unfair, anti-consumer and illegal in the UK.

Amazing time great 40 mins 😍😍 xx

Me and my friends Callum and Aaron all went on these bikes , it was an excellent experience after the world pipe band championship, was a great time , but was a little tricky to set up 😗😗, although would 100% do again

Useless in SW London

No parking spaces means they’re next to useless. Check your route first and probably get a lime instead. Shame because prices are good and the bikes are nice

Terrible

Could not park the bike anywhere and the customer service team were useless. I would recommend walking.

Absolutely appalling experience with Voi.
I had to change scooters three times because every single one had a serious fault.
The first scooter was accelerating by itself.
The second had an accelerator button that kept getting stuck.
The third scooter was braking by itself.
These aren't minor inconveniences. These are serious safety issues. An e-scooter accelerating without warning or braking unexpectedly could genuinely put someone in danger.
I contacted Voi support expecting them to take the situation seriously. Their response, essentially, was:
"Sorry for the inconvenience. As a goodwill gesture, we'll offer you £1.60, which you'll receive within 5–10 working days. Have a great day. Bye."
£1.60.
After having to deal with three faulty scooters in a row, including scooters that were accelerating and braking unexpectedly, this was apparently what Voi considered an appropriate response.
The complete lack of concern about the safety aspect is honestly more disappointing than the £1.60 itself.
If a scooter is accelerating by itself, has a stuck accelerator, or is braking by itself, it should not be on the road in the first place.
Voi needs to seriously improve both its scooter safety checks and customer support. I certainly won't be trusting a Voi scooter again after this experience.
Three scooters. Three serious faults. £1.60 compensation. Absolutely unacceptable.

Incredibly unreliable

When Voi was introduced to my city I was very excited - some great elements to it such as discounts for using a helmet, decent enough bikes. But it’s become unusable. When the city is busy it’s impossible to unlock / drop off a bike in the centre due to poor signal. I’ve reserved so many then been unable to unlock them, so I’m worried they’ll disable this feature for me. There are also rarely enough bikes in residential areas in the morning, or in the centre in the afternoon/evening. It’s a good idea, but doesn’t really work here for people using the bikes to get into the city to work

Seeing bikes

Incomplete bikes but iOS app is only letting me see bikes in batches, even when im fully zoomed in. Whats the point of this if I can’t see every bike, its charge status and being able to reserve them?

Availability is terrible

Great until I need to park anywhere near my house or pick up a bike from anywhere close.

Voi to avoid

Tried it only one time. Only because I couldn’t find any lime or forest. The scooter was dangerous. Not very stable. It accelerates too quickly. Parking was a nightmare. I had to park 10 minute from home even though there were 2 other nearby parking zones. It didn’t allow me to end the bike. Never going back to it again. The positive reviews must be fake.
