App fail
App has officially failed. I’ve been able to login with face unlock for so long until this morning. Now it has failed and won’t even allow me to use my passcode. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled but has still completely failed. Just another reason why I’m taking my banking business elsewhere.
Unreliable
This app crashes when you need it the most. Completely unreliable. And it hasn’t changed at all since I’ve started using it! This app alone makes me want to switch banks. Everytime I login it says “undergoing scheduled maintenance”. Maintenance on what???? This app is some absolute doodoo-fest! Fix the dang app already

App update
Not good! I just updated like 1 month ago & had to update again. Tried using mobile app to deposit check and continue getting errors. I spoke with customer service, was advised to settings for update & delete app which I did, still cannot use mobile app to deposit checks continue getting errors after updating phone, deleting & reinstalling mobile app- still getting unknown errors!

App keeps getting worse - terrible for privacy
App lacks basic account administration features - need a replacement card? Too bad! If you need to do any functions other than look at your account or move money from checking or savings, you better be ready to call in. Also- I know my own name, I don't need it to be displayed in one inch tall letters when opening the app BEFORE logging in, and then taking up 1/4 of the screen on multiple pages in the app. What does this add? Who asked for this? No way to disable or change what is displayed either. Awful for privacy.

Terrible app
This is one of the worst apps I’ve ever had in my life. It is terrible. The customer service does not help you out whatsoever and they are absolutely awful at getting you what you need when the time you need it. Westerra is the worst credit union I’ve ever been to and I am going to be switching to another actual bank as soon as possible Westerra is absolutely awful

Amazing bank.
I have been using the app for years now. Not many issues. Easy to understand. Many of the reward programs are featured in the app but you have to navigate the website on mobile. Overall experience is fantastic.
Glitchy
For instance I can’t sign in today because it says I need to update the app. When I try to update the app there’s no newer version than what I have. When I press the open app I go back to the screen that says I need to update the app. No way to sign in no way to get out of the loop.
In general, this app is hard to navigate not easy to open. The business app works fine but the personal banking app. Is very obtuse.

I love the app
I love the Westerra App. It makes it super easy for me to move money between accounts. I have been a Westerra member for years, and I’ll never stop being a member.
Improving app, but pretty awful experiences
Always breaking with external apps for tracking money like Monarch and previously with Mint.
Now there are pop ups n my transactions with a nearly impossible X to close it.
I don’t know how much more of this incompetence in app integration I want to take.

Please fix pay bills!!
I don’t mind the app. It’s pretty easy and user friendly for me. I have more issues with the website. But, please please fix the pay bills option! Every time I try to use it the app logs me out. It’s been this way off and on for a few years so it’s not just recent updates.

Just received an update and the app still won’t log me in.
Lousy update
Every time they attempt to “update” it breaks the app. I can’t even get into my account now. They’re putting me in a horrible situation where I can’t manage my account. Fix it!!

Horrible App
They must have recently updated the app, again, as i can no longer transfer funds between my accounts using it. I have to manually log on to the website now. Westerra has horrible customer service as well when you try to call and see if the error is on their end.

I downloaded this app and had it understood within 10 minutes
Embarrassing
Can we leave a lower star rating? Everything about this app and the online banking system is terrible. It’s slow, inefficient and lacks functionality. This joke of an app can hardly be considered a service for members.

Absolutely awful online and app experience. Literally nothing ever works. Can’t pay for my new auto loan through the website or the app. Both constantly crashing or giving me the spinning wheel of death. Should have just financed through Toyota for a slightly higher rate - it would have been worth it to not have to deal with this massive headache. Can’t wait to refinance out of this terrible credit union

Terrible app
App is absolute trash , we ended up with a loan through Westerra and they make it the absolute hardest to make payments. Total pain to get setup had to call them multiple times . Just this morning spinning circle not loading , and not the first time this has happened on days where not supposed to be any scheduled maintenance. Wont EVER use Westerra for anything ever again.
