Simple but hugely informative

I love the simplicity of whoop, having it on my wrist that I forget about but using the app with lots of insights that help me better consider the impact of key activities on my body.

Very good

Very good

Good in theory - useless in practice

The concept sounds amazing. Monitor your vitals and help you improve performance and health. Other than the strain monitor, the other metrics are questionable at best. And the AI Chatbot, which is supposed to give you advice is utterly useless.. You are way better off to just talk with Claude or ChatGPT then waste your time with Whoop.

More Than Data, It’s Helped Me Build Better Habits

I’ve gone back and forth between different apps and devices to track sleep, recovery, and training strain, and WHOOP has been by far the best experience for me.

The app is intuitive, user-friendly, and packed with useful data without feeling overwhelming. Like any wearable, not every metric is going to be 100% accurate, and some data occasionally needs context or adjustment. But that’s not really where I see the value.

For me, WHOOP is most useful for establishing consistent benchmarks, spotting trends over time, and building healthier habits around sleep, recovery, and training. Instead of obsessing over individual numbers, I use the data to make better decisions and understand how my habits affect my performance and recovery.

Excellent data presentation

I have had the Oura ring, Samsung smart watches, Apple smart watches, and this thing presents data far better and more digestible than any of the others. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to identify trends in their day to day that they could improve upon and get a good baseline.

Not your target audience.

I’m close to day 950 of wearing my WHOOP band. I respect the work put forth to develop and enhance this technology. The data helps me monitor my life’s balance before health, and that’s important to me. You’ve created something that tracks how much we invest in ourselves and reminds us to do the same for those we love. Thank you!

Loved Whoop but getting worse

The piling on of AI “features” that I can’t turn off or opt out of is already irritating, but the tracking has also only been getting worse (it used to be on the nose about my main activity, now it is all over the place and regular automatically stops logging when I’ve barely even started, only to log showers as activities instead). It might just be coincidence but the decline coinciding with the increased AI integration, and my observations of every other AI tool I’ve been unable to avoid, do make me suspicious that these things are related, to Whoop’s detriment. A new low, it logged 4x as many steps as Apple Health today - I was on a road trip for 5.5 hours, Whoop is definitely the one that’s wrong about this. If they insist on burying themselves with AI, I just wish I could at least turn off the way it interacts with me. I don’t want an app talking to me in a creepy imitation of a person. Unfortunately, I bought a longer subscription at my last renewal. If the accuracy doesn’t come back by the time that expires, I just don’t think the high price will be worth it.

Garbage

Trying to set up MFA so I can upload lab data. Fails with “something went wrong. Please try again. Won’t us email or my phone number. Then the prompt to upload lab data disappears after throwing a bunch of confetti to celebrate the fact that nothing works. No support articles, not much support of any kind really. Just FAILURE.

Operations and using interface

You could make it more simplified with a tutorial mode or an indicator mode in it. Overall everything is pretty good 💯

I love the accountability

I use whoop for tracking my sleep and recovery. The journal allows me to reflect on the things that work and the things that compromise my recovery. Since wearing the whoop (approx 16 months) I’ve found I have a greater accountability of my sleep because I can track the days and see tangible results

Love my Whoop!

I’ve been a user of Whoop for SO many years. I took a break and couldn’t stay away. Came back and immediately fell in love again. Appreciate and love that they continue to innovate for their members.

Underwhelmed

Doesn’t count steps correctly from the 4.0-5.0 version. Strain doesn’t register the same way on the 5.0
All the extra features on the top tier are hard to figure out. No customer service

Go with Whoop

Best way to track all health stats!

Double charged for membership

Due to a glitch in the ap a duplicate account was set up when I transferred my whoop ap from my current iphone to a new one (it didn’t automatically transfer over). It’s impossible to get hold of anyone from
whoop, I chased them
for weeks and finally got confirmation the duplicate account (which was still in a free trial) had been cancelled. Today I’ve still been billed £229 which put that account into over draft. I’ve been a whoop member for years but I have to say it’s ridiculously hard to get out of if you decide to quit (or in this case remove the duplicate account that was created due to their software glitch). All the phone numbers are international, the ap interface is deliberately a nightmare making it hard to cancel as possible (in fact you actually have to got to a website page which is labelled as “whoop ap” which is deliberately confusing as it gives users the impression you can cancel it directly on the ap -which you can’t). I’m honestly fuming and thinking of ending my entire whoop membership even though i’ve been using it for 2/3 years now

5+ Years In and Still Wearing It Every Day

I’ve had WHOOP for over 5 years and still wear it every day. I’m very active, and I love being able to track my recovery, sleep, and strain and see how my body is actually handling everything. WHOOP has continued to get better over the years, and it’s definitely been worth it for me.
