Terrible app
In my area, Xfinity offers the best services and promotions. However, this app is utterly bogus. You can only basically check to see if your WiFi is online, which is pointless because you’d only check the app if the internet is out, in which case you’ll know when the internet stops working without the app.
It puts you through an endless loop of “use the app to do x” then in the app, it usually doesn’t work and says “chat with support” which is a dumb chat bot that either tells you to visit the app or get in touch with an agent. At least get chat gpt API, anything is better than this rot.
If you click on go to an option in app, it’ll do a popup Internet window inside the app and make you log in again, just to experience the same loop. If you select chat with an agent, half the time it’ll say an agent joined the chat but no will be there or respond.
I scheduled a move to a new address and received email confirmation, but when getting to the new address, the app acts like nothing happened, and now it’s telling me I don’t have active service.
Get your stuff together, very disappointed long time customer here who’s tech savvy and not a boomer. And before you ask, yes, I’ve tried unplugging it and plugging it back in

Sluggish buggy
This app has so many bugs. Runs sluggish and its meant for wifi lol c'mon.
Streaming app
Switching to the Xfinity streaming app works about 50% of the time . Xfinity really sucks .

Forces a software update for use then the AppStore states that the version is current. Can’t use to test Internet (which has been down for two days)…we need better options

WiFi drops although the router says it’s strong. Plus the price isn’t worth it. Maybe time for another carrier…

I’m sure what the user wants is hidden somewhere in the infinite loop but I sure can’t find it.

When this thing is functioning at its optimal level, it’s amazing. When its in the midst of bug fixes, or whatever else…it’s my worst enemy.
Change in rewards
Twice now where I get a push notification for a reward and within seconds of me getting it I click on it, get sent to the app and click on the reward it's telling me about and then I get an error it's no longer available. How are you running out of digital movies not only in seconds but at all? I have redeemed more than a few so not sure why this is all of a sudden an issue. This is really making me think about taking my business elsewhere. I get a push notification to add the movie Austin Powers to my collection. I click it within seconds of me getting it and when I get in the app the digital movie that should not be something you run out of says it's gone. Writhing 30 seconds of me getting the notification. So I go and look it up and apparently the rewards have changed to where they are limited time or quantity. This is going to just make it so I ignore those. This is also a really garbage way to thank your customers.
