Had my ride set up fora couple of days before for after work @10:10 .15min before they text me saying sorry but this is the busiest time we will need to cancel ur ride - next time is 11:30. I had no way home but to walk an hr from one end of town in the freezing cold to the other with feet/ knee issues and being a woman. Thanks Y Ride Y stands for YOU SUCK!!!

Bad ETA
Drivers are great but if the ETA says 5-8 mins prepare for a 20-30 min wait. Every single time.
Disgusting customer service
I rely on this ride service to get to and from work and have spent hundreds of dollars in rides. I often work in the morning when ETAs are high. They have an option to book your ride in advance, but if you do that your fair goes up by multiple dollars. This morning I was waiting to be paired with a driver, and received an automated message that it would take longer than normal to find a driver and that they MAYBE will match me within 20-30 minutes. I proceeded to wait to be paired with a driver, and after 15 minutes they sent me another message saying my ride was cancelled and that I need to rebook again (which in theory would start me at the end of the queue). The nail in the coffin was that I was then told by their customer service that I “never responded if I wanted to wait 20-30 minutes” and that’s why they cancelled me. The message is worded and sent as if it’s auto-generated, and said NOTHING about having to reply to stay in the queue. Ultimately I had to call a cab as I couldn’t afford to wait any longer, because like I said, I rely on this service to get to work. And by then, I would have been late. Terrible service, don’t recommend to anyone unless you have nothing better to do but wait around, or if you’re willing to spend what you earn in an hour to book in advance.

We use YDrive for my son to and from work.Not one single issue except for last night due to the weather.App glitched and cancelled his ride and was unpleasant,but, it was addressed right away and refunded,so to me that made it right as rain.Weather conditions are not anyone’s fault.Will continue using this company.🤜🤛

App is unreliable
First couple of weeks I had it installed, it worked fine. After that it would open to a mostly blank screen. The map was there, but the bottom half of the screen where you enter the details was blank. Customer service was uninterested in helping.
Wait for 10-15 minutes and no one accepts your ride.
Tried to book a ride going and coming home from dinner as we were drinking. Waiting 10 minutes for a confirmation on the ride and ended up cancelling both times and called a cab. Waste of time don’t bother
Awful experience
The drivers are always late, even when you try to prebook in advance, and if you cancel the ride after waiting for so long which makes no sense anymore they charge you a cancellation fee. Will avoid using this app at all cost now.
Disappointing experience
I get I live in a small town but I was excited to see this service compared to the big usual ride shares. We couldn't get a ride to the restaurant so ended up walking. On return we got matched to a driver in the neighbouring town and it was 17mins away. 10 mins from arrival it suddenly got cancelled and they they claim it was my end.

You mean I will wait for an hour to get a ride and if i tried to cancel because is taking long time, I will be charged for cancellation. This is frustrating and crazy. You guys should better do something about this.

Charges are all over
I used to love using y-drive but don’t understand how I got charged 3 times, then reversed then charged, not to mention always charged more than that quote ride. I think I’ll go back to using taxis.

Can’t get SMS codes
Ever since the update I got kicked out of account, when attempting to log in says it needs to send a code and doesn’t ever send me a code. Has left me in a crappy situation where I have had to walk 45m as a ride fell through and couldn’t get this app to work for me and didn’t have time to look for other routes as had to be somewhere.

Charged money without me using it. Did not use it at all and they charged me.
Finally. A ride sharing app for the rest of us.
The app is solid, the service has been great. My only wish is that prebooking a pick up was a little more straightforward - I find I accidentally restart the process when all I want to do is review the set up before requesting.
