Worst Delivery Experience — Cancelled Order, No Immediate Refund

Zapp cancelled my order without proper explanation while the payment taken was the last money on my card. The order included milk for my baby, and despite the cancellation being their fault, my refund was not returned immediately.

I then spent nearly 2 hours dealing with customer support while being left without both the items I needed and access to my own money.

Offering a small credit instead of taking responsibility made the situation even worse. Deleted my account immediately after this experience.

Dangerous deliver drivers and shocking delivery times

Driver was rude and left my door wide open. Deliver an hour late. Do not use!

Such a great app.

I feel sorry I didn’t know about them before. They have wide range , unique products and very quick delivery. Very easy to navigate app , user friendly.

Totally unreliable / not on time

Delivery time kept increasing and past way beyond expected

Order not delivered

Waited 45 minutes for an order that was estimated to take 10-15 mins. the order was dispatched and the rider kept circling close to my home but not quite near. I then got an app message that the order was cancelled and an email from Zapp that as a gesture of goodwill they will not charge me a cancellation fee this time(!!). As a result I’m late to work, not had breakfast and apparently should be grateful for horrible service.
On multiple past occasions I did get riders that didn’t speak fluent English and couldn’t navigate, so I had to guide them using Zapp map and the phone (!) or come outside searching for them. It deterred me from ordering more frequently but after today I deleted the app and won’t use it again.

Long delivery time

It took a very long time for delivery. The time kept extending.

London service issues

Service has really gone downhill recently. I live in central London and Zapp is no longer quick or reliable. Service plus delivery fee is now around £4 which is really not worth it when delivery is so much slower. You do get £10 credit when orders are late (which is recently most of the time) but as you get charged a fee for small orders and there is the base fee I mentioned, that £10 is hardly worthwhile credit for a sub-par service. I used to be a huge fan of the service, selection of items etc, but the delays are very inconvenient.

Super service! Perhaps a bit pricey in some product areas but when you need things at 11pm, it is SO worth it!

Worst Client for delivery

As delivery partner, I believe ZAPP is extremely unprofessional with their delivery partners and there might be corruption between this company staff to assign orders to specific couriers , their friends of course. If they are online, they switch the courier company for their benefits and their friends’ benefit.
Zapp is not looking carefully for the benefits of their customers but about how much cheap orders to be delivered to make more money/profit from the customers and orders got delayed at the end by hours.

Fantastic

Very convenient with so many fantastic treats all in one place.

Manipulative Waiting Times

Lead times will lie to the tune of 30 minutes in 5 minutes increments.

9/10 times - faster, easier, cheaper etc. do take a bus to a store than wait, let alone drive or walk.

Closing account, deleting the app and using well established competitors.

Disorganised, cancelled order, waiting for refund

Delivery estimate was 20 min, kept going up until I asked them to cancel. Customer service kept saying it was “on its way” when actually they didn’t have enough delivery drivers to ever deliver. Not sure what the goal was other than to upset a customer and keep my money for a week to fund their working capital.

Good products, terrible delivery

They keep changing times from 20 mins to more than an hour. I can see I’m not the only one who had problems with the delivery. Delisting this app from my phone, not comparable to Uber eats or deliveroo.

Keyboard does not work.

Deleted it. Keyboard does not come up.

Terrible

Zapp is hands down one of the worst delivery apps I’ve ever used. It’s completely unreliable, and I’m beyond frustrated with their service. Every time I place an order, they never have drivers availabl! I’ve waited for what feels like forever, only to find out my order is either delayed indefinitely or won’t even arrive. What’s the point of a delivery app if they can’t actually deliver?

Their whole system is useless. The app might look nice, but that means nothing when your food or items never show up. You’d think a delivery service would prioritize getting drivers on the road, but not Zapp. It’s a total waste of time, and I’m angry that I even bothered downloading it. Avoid it unless you want to be disappointed and left waiting endlessly for an order that may never come.
