I booked a doctors appointment as a new patient in Zocdoc told me that that Office accepted my insurance. Took half a day of work off drove an hour to get to the doctor only to find out they don’t accept the insurance. But it’s on the app and the receptionist told me it happens all the time. Be very aware, not consumer friendly.

Zocdocs mental care is a scam
I have never left a review before but after the experience I went through with Zocdoc I must,trying to make an appointment for a close fiend who is not able to do so themself cause of mental reasons and not one of the Zocdoc doctors/professionals would even give a chance,immediately texted me saying I had to cancel the appointments cause the individual had to do so themself.There’s so many people with mental health problems who cannot do that who don’t have their records and can’t put someone down as the person to speak for them,who have no access in general,who are stuck in a psychiatric facility with no way of knowing or being able to contact a professional.So who else but family,friends and loved ones could try and find them gel and reach out,but Zocdoc wants to have people sending messages not even calling on the phone to say you can’t.This is not how mental health should be listened to or cared for this is no care at all,this is how people die, get committed or hurt themself cause they can’t even find means for help.This is disgusting and wrong and shows Zocdoc has no care for mental health of any kind,do better.

I couldn’t be more happy about using zocdoc, this app has made making appointments sooooo easy it’s incredible. I was always overwhelmed by trying to find new places to make appointments, unsure of where to go, but now, I’m making all of the appointments I’ve been needing to make for a while.
Best Doctor
Very professional! She followed up with me in between visits to check and see how my treatment was progressing. Very thorough in her treatment and care. She also collaborated with one of my other doctors to ensure proper care. I am so glad I found her on Zocdoc! Life changing!

Lies about what appointments are. I’ve tried to schedule several and upon arrival come to find out the drs office does not offer what is offered on the app. I’d give 0 out of 5 stars if I could.

It used to be good
It used to be really good, but lately there seem so few doctors that you can make appointments with. I live in Manhattan and the doctors suggested were in New Jersey. I set the filter for within a mile and it came up with 2 that I had gone to before and had a bad experience. I know there are a lot more, I looked at my insurance site and there were probably more than 50.

You still lack putting locations specific ZIP Codes. I asked for doctors in Brooklyn. Can you give me Manhattan. Only pet peeve would Zocdoc.

Not a physical therapist
I searched PT and found a good one. Booked appointment. As I’m walking in they call me and say he is not a physical therapist. Really?!?! I took off of work to go and they call 5 mins before it starts. Zocdoc made a huge mistake.
