I recently changed my insurance and none of my doctors were in network. I didn't know what to do… Until I found ZocDoc! They make it so easy to find doctors that are in-network. I don't know what I would've done without this app. And everything, all of your upcoming and last appointments, even a checklist of appointments you need to make for yourself! It's AMAZING!!!

Great to find doctors who are available in short notice
I have recently moved from city to city and it has been great finding doctors who can see at a short notice. Zocfoc not only has the list of doctors nearby who are in network but also provides their availability. Otherwise we will end up calling 10s of doctors offices and they will give appointments 2-3 months out. Thank you Zocdoc!

I’ve tried to set up several appointments that have been canceled repeatedly by providers. I don’t want to pay a co- pay because the appointment may not happen! Frustrated

I hope you’re betting on yourself for the long game with this one, Zocdoc. You’re tragically a stone’s throw from convenience and yet still a chasm away from reliability and common sense. This is not the first time this app has me thinking how bad this app is, and at least this time I hadn’t taken a day off from work for a zocdoc appt.

Person experience
It runs slowly and wouldn’t let me fill out the paperwork needed prior to my appointment. That was frustrating! It also doesn’t verify my insurance information prior to the appointment.

“Ai assistant” is the first thing you see
You have to wait for a skip button to appear if you are trying to search for a provider and you can’t just toggle it off. Really dumb in my personal opinion and I’m sick of ai being shoved down my throat.
Impressive, efficient and reliable!
Overall I’m impressed with how easy and helpful this site is! The search options are clear and easy to understand. It located the Dr I wanted to see and took my insurance. I made my appointment in less than 10 mins. I find it so much easier than searching through my health insurance website.

Searched the entire state of California, and they could only find one doctor in network. Ridiculously bad, and massively inaccurate

A lot of doctors might not take your insurance.
A lot of doctors might not take your insurance. Which will result in you canceling a lot, and getting locked out of your account. You have to send an email to get your account unlocked despite doctors lying about taking your health insurance. You have to carefully avoid “sponsored” because those providers show up first on the list. You’re better off going through your insurance for doctors already in network.

Dental Customer
I don’t understand it. I made a confirmed dental appointment thru this service for this morning and as I was going out the door the dentist office called and said there was no way they could take me at the appointment time as this service DID NOT communicate with dentist office. What is going on? I would have been so upset if I had driven all the way over there and my appointment was no good.

This is the best app to book appointments quickly.
AI chat bot addition is BAD!
Still effective, I was able to book an appointment, but the AI chat bot element made it take WAY longer, made it WAY more confusing, and put barriers between me and my healthcare that I used to avoid by using Zocdoc. Very disappointing.
