Revolutionary

Honestly what an amazing app! For once, there’s an app that’s better than Google maps! It was sooo helpful for all travel throughout Zurich, even better than the SBB mobile app. It’ll not only tell you where to walk on an interactive map, it’ll tell you what platform and different times and gives you live updates of where your bus and train is! I wish all cities had an app as good as this!

Check-in feature doesn’t work

The check-in ticket slider feature is currently nonfunctional. When attempting to configure it and register my U.S. phone number, I do not receive the verification text message required to proceed.
Additionally, the application takes a considerable amount of time to determine my location, which proves inconvenient when trying to purchase a ticket quickly.

KeinStern verdient

Extra zu Hause installiert und 10er Ticket gekauft, nur um dann zu merken, dass Haltestelle Bahnhofsquai in der App nicht gibt und Kreditkartendaten nicht gespeichert werden. Zustand der App wie vor 35 Jahren.

Vielen Dank für Ihre Rückmeldung. Es tut uns leid, dass Sie Probleme mit der ZVV App erlebt haben. Die Haltestelle Zürich, Bahnhofsquai/HB ist in der App grundsätzlich vorhanden. Auch die Speicherung von Kreditkartendaten ist in der App vorgesehen. Es könnte sich also um ein technisches Problem handeln. App doesn’t work for visitors

If you don’t have Swiss pass it just makes you enter your name and birthdate repeatedly without allowing you to buy tickets.

The bus’ payment machine was also broken so we spent 5 minutes trying to buy a ticket delaying everything

Eine der schlechtesten ÖPNV Apps, die ich kenne

Vollkommen unmöglich ein Ticket zu kaufen. Button ist ausgegraut, egal was man macht. Fast alle Links in der App führen zu 404 Error Websites. Wer programmiert so einen Unsinn?

Loggt ohne Info den Swisspass aus

Gerade wieder in der Kontrolle gewesen und mal wieder merkt man dann erst, dass die App den Swisspass „verloren“ hat. Neu einloggen hat auch nicht funktioniert. Das ist sehr ärgerlich, man steht wie ein Verbrecher da. Das muss stabil sein.

Checkin Funktion ruiniert Akkulaufzeit

Die App hat mit aktiver Checkin Funktion innerhalb von 3h 60% Akku leergesaugt. Ist natürlich super wenn man dann letztendlich ohne Ticket da steht weil das Handy leer ist. Bei meiner Freundin, die exakt dieselben Strecken ebenfalls mit check in, aber mit der sbb app gefahren ist, war der Akku Verbrauch normal.

Won’t let me register number

To use the check in and check out ticket, you need to enter a cell phone number. However I can’t click the register button after entering in the number. I suspect the form converts the format of the number and the app doesn’t recognize it but there is now way on the iPhone to change this format.

Location service is always on

The check-in feature does not work unless you have location service “always on”. If you select ‘allow location access while using the app’, the check-in feature doesn’t work.

Guess this means that the ZVV is always tracking you…

Also, the most recent update fails to run now.
Wish I could roll back to the previous version.

Good thing I don’t need to count on the app being functional.

Nevertheless, you are only tracked shortly before check-in until a few minutes after check-out.
