Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Microsoft 365 Admin at 78% against MyOffice's 52%. Microsoft 365 Admin also leads on ratings volume (5.8K vs 1). MyOffice's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 16.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
MyOffice holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Microsoft 365 Admin has 5.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of MyOffice's written reviews are positive against 78% of Microsoft 365 Admin's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
MyOffice ships an update every 5 weeks, Microsoft 365 Admin every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
