Cannot view attachments in the app
The app is great even though it has some limitations compared to the web interface. It does the job. However one major bug they haven’t addressed yet is that you can’t view issue attachments. Every time you click an attachment it gives an error message: “something went wrong, it must be ahickup”Michael Aivaliotis
Made life easier
This app is very functional and easier than the web interface.
For small actions, you can’t go wrong. It’s interfaces nicely with JIRA and allows me to update or make tickets on the fly and keep an eye on what’s going on. Essential for anyone using JIRA.Ward1982
Almost there
A few little usability fixes which will go along way: 1. Make it so when clicking a link in a comment it doesn’t try to bring up the context menu instead. 2. Sometimes after commenting it glitches and either doesn’t show the comment you left or shows it as though another user left it (very odd). Both issues fix themselves if you close the issue and reopen
3. It might be nice to show our custom filters on the backlog view

Reasonable approximation of Jira Cloud on desktop
I use the mobile app constantly throughout the day. As an Agile consultant, I am constantly in Jira. However, I am also constantly on the go. Jira Mobile allows me to keep track of things as they progress, receive updates in real-time, respond to comments, manage statuses, view and update sprint boards - and much more.
I literally use this app more than all of my social media apps combined.Show lessReydrx
Doesn't work on ios10.3
Using iPad 4 iOS 10.3.3
App opens and logs in, shows notification number on icon but full screen notification in app prevents app from being used.
Notification is that an update needs to be installed. There s a later version but it's for ios11 - reinstalling app gives option to install most recent compatible version but that's the one that blocks the app with the full screen notification.

The “recently viewed” list is often out of date and doesn’t keep up with actions in the app. “Add issue link” does nothing. A variety of fields available on the web application are broken.
Tap targets wait before animating, then move right before you tap them, leading you to open the wrong page.

Overly complex
With time, Jira appears to become more complicated, while at the same time also being slower and less intuitive.

Awesome tool to manage both scrum and agile processes for our software dev team. Features I like the most are the various charting tools I can use to track performance, time output and yield for each individual working on our projects. Additionally, Jira is tied to confluence if you subscribe to both which makes it easier to manage documents and tie those documents to specific EPICS and Stories.Show lessGPSMD
Work even from mobile
This app made my life so much easy. As we handle critical global agile project , we may need updates/need to provide updates from/to team members all over the world.
This app enabled me to check the updates easily in mobile anytime. I need not to open my laptop for the updates.

Nice and handy
This is a great companion app to the website to be able to pull up and comment / update issues without having to bring my laptop.
Adding an Apple Watch extension to receive notifications for comments is a neat touch.
Only reason I gave it 4 Stars is lack of support for dashboards. It would be nice to have this open on my screen to avoid it disappearing between the dozens of tabs I have open. If this is something in the works I have no problems updating to 5 Stars.Show lessCelTiger
