  • Text selection?

    This applies to both the iOS and MacOS versions of the app; please add support for selecting text in an open ticket without having to open the editor.

    Otherwise I have to resort to using the web version until then.

    Siri Shortcuts work well, nice touch.
  • Very nice app.

    It’s very useful and the build quality is great. Also it’s amazing to have similar experience on mac and iPad. Makes it feel like developer is putting an effort rather than cutting cutting corners with web views.

    Some areas still need improvement.
  • Insanely Fast

    I’m so used to web services providing a very poor mobile app companion to their product. Jira, however, has made an amazing app that not only holds up the webapp’s experience but improves on it.
  • Like most of Atlassian Products this falls short

    I have so many things to say it is overwhelming, I’ll just hit the main points.

    In no way is this useful for middle / upper management. This is just a tool that gives basics and the UI has some really bad functionality.

    Example, when searching issues within the app you have to click the search field to use that basic options available on the web version. IE pick a project, status, etc.

    You can’t dig deep into a task or issue. IE history on a task isn’t available.

    Most fields act odd and the interaction is cumbersome.

    I would have thought that by now this would be a mature app... needs a lot of work to be useful past basic issue moving and commenting.

    All this coupled with the new web interface that doesn’t work well on an iPad or even my desktop for that matter is pushing us to move away from Atlassian.

  • Best Helpdesk App on the market

    Easier, better, faster. I Got our service desk up and running and rolled out to our team in one day. All company staff are now raising all their IT support requests through Jira and it working well. 👍
  • Would love the ability to schedule a DND for notifications

    With a global team, it seems that someone is always working and so notifications are constantly coming through. Would love the ability to have a do not disturb option (check out Slack for an example) so that notifications happen during my working hours.
  • Intuitive UI improves productivity

    Being able to monitor Jira issues on my mobile device is a lifesaver. I can interact with my project team on the go. I can’t think of anything else I would add to it.

    The UI is simple and very intuitive. The ability to juggle between multiple projects at the same time is simply superb. I can’t think of anything else I need right now that the app does not already offer. Keep up the good work!

  • Won’t log in

    When I login with my company email, which is hosted by Gmail, this app’s second screen asks me to create an account. I already have an account, so I click “already have an account” — that takes you to the first screen to login again. It’s really silly. It’s almost like Atlassian has no concept of UX, which is of course a fact. It could also be that Atlassian has no concept of semantics, which is also a fact — makes me wonder if “login” means something else. This is a completely bonkers and terrible tool on a desktop so I’m actually happy I cannot login.

    Some things on app
  • Simple yet powerful

    I’m very impressed with this app.
    I love that you can easily create tickets with a few taps!
    Only issue I have is that when assigning a ticket to an epic it initially only displays „None“ in the list and I can only see other epics when searching for them.
    I tried restarting the app hoping that it re-fetches the list of epics but didn’t help :(
    Also it would be great if Epics had different colors. By the way black on purple for epics on the board is hard to read, white on purple would be much better.
