  • Great Software and IOS App

Atlasssian is the best solution for software development at least because it comes as a whole thing. Jira gives a wide range of tools to successfully manage developing process, simple integration to Bitbucket and even customer support system gives me a hope I will finally finish developing my soft 🙃.
IOS app works perfectly, gives notifications and keep working process on the go.

  • 5 stars - Sync is good on all devices

This Jira Cloud app does sync nicely across all devices and operating systems. The desktop version I use at work is Win10 and at home I have only IOS devices. I have not had any issues with it since original download a couple of years ago. That is a very rare statement regarding “free” AppStore apps! 👍

  • Amazing app!

Impressive app! Easy to use, makes our business experience good and gives structure to our team’s progress. Highly recommend it to anyone starting up business!
  • Jira OMG / app OK

•Jira itself is a fantastic tool more so than the app.
    • the app itself still has several weaknesses such as entering and clearly preserving description data or
    • performing fluid formatting completely on mobile
    • but adding attachments of photos etc is actually easier on app than desktop and
    • pages actually load faster in app than desktop

  • The Jira app is awesome compared to the desktop site

I wish the desktop website was half as good as the mobile app. For my office we are moving away from Jira as the web site has issues that we are not able to tolerate any longer. When I open My Open Issues, it presents the list of items in a column on the left l, but always brings up a random closed item on the right. Also, many times when I scroll down on the peg the top panel vanishes and the only way to see it again is to refresh the entire page. I have been using the mobile app instead as it’s so superior to the large landscape web site. Great job on the app. I really like its auto refresh features!

  • Long awaited and can’t overestimate the impact

As a highly faithful Jira user I anticipated the mobile app with great enthusiasm. I have been more than excited when it was out, and I loved the experience every day I used it! It has basically enabled me to work from anywhere! I like the instant nature of all the notifications on the app, as well as it’s robust UI! Love it!

  • Essential and well designed

Absolutely essential app for managing Projects, gives me the ability to plan ahead away from the desktop. Really well designed and thought out, can you please add a filter feature to hide done items
  • Overall a great app, but...

The inability to add story points through the app is just mind boggling. Come on people, this isn’t that hard to do, please, this is the only reason I still have to use the site.
  • Notification not working

I get a badge with notifications , but when opening the application it does not refresh or show the new notifications.
    Please fix it
I use this daily with my work.
  • It’s getting better, but lacks depth

Look, this iOS app is about 1000% better than the web app from an everyday usability perspective. The web app is slow, buggy, fiddly, and frustrating. This app is fast and responsive, and has been improving steadily.

I would say that the iPad experience really needs help. The new text formatting options are welcome but cumbersome on an iPad. Look at Apple Notes for some clues on how to do this right. Use a popover! Why does it not return to the keyboard after I make a formatting selection?

One big recent improvement is making the Share action a native share sheet! Way to go! Now, just make the text formatting use native text components.

Finally, the recent update to swimlanes to make them actually lanes is very very welcome. Before, it was impossible to track between lanes, making the feature all but unusable.

Slowly but surely, Jira Cloud’s accumulation of bizarre choices, which characterize Atlassian’s products, are being tackled and refined.
