Bunq update Issue
I updated my bunq and now I can’t go into my account it keeps requesting to make a new update my house hold and friends have this issue what is going on ????Worst set-up process
After a week I still do not have an account. I have provided the information requested but the chat bot or customer service rep keeps saying they can’t open it, send in another format. Then it said to email my info, the response to sending my personal info was they don’t know what this is reference to. So now my personal info is just floating around at their company. I’m done with this process. Too much aggravation to pay them for a bank account. And now that I read the reviews it sounds like constant spam and upsell.Show lessDeveloper Response

This bank decided to change their ATM withdrawal maximum from €500 per day per card to €250 per day per account, and then announce it through a buried quip on a Friday.
This isn’t it, guys. Your customers on your forums are extremely unhappy and so am I. Be honest and forthcoming in your communications and allow flexibility during and after a pandemic. Monthly fees of eur8 to eur20 are way too high for a simple bank account. App is very hard to use and customer support can take hours to respond - and typically do so with links to online how to articles. For a mobile first mobile only “challenger” bank - Bunq is quite challenged.Sorry - I don’t trust it
I have zero confidence in the competency of an app that:
1. hangs before completing the identity check despite multiple attempts and multiple messages to customer services
2. won’t let me log out and instead returns me to the page that informs me the identity check didn’t complete and can I please try again
What’s going to happen in the app when I’m trying to access my money if it can’t even complete a core function that inhibits growth to its user base?!Show lessHidden charges
The app is filled with useless “premium” features designed to confuse you into clicking them and activating them. There is no warning or asking of consent, once you click trough them they are activated without any indication. After a month you will see your bank account charged. The quality of the bunq app is worth the premium price tag (rather high when you share an account), but it really needs to stop defaulting to the most recently created account when you pay. I shouldn’t need to change out of my travel or home savings account every time I pay.Nice Features but subpar customer service
Very nice Features. Good virtual card integration and APIs. It ends there though. If you need any sort of customer service, best of luck. You will get copy paste answers to your questions and will quickly get frustrated. They really don’t care. I have truly never used an app that gets me stuck in more loops I cannot get out of than this app. I put my password in and it brings me nowhere. Do it again and again. Tried to transfer money into this account but I cannot access. Also cannot transfer money from my business account to personal within bunq?!? impossible to connect with support for another endless and painful loop experience. A great bank for daily banking needs in Europe. Ideal payments are amazing. Get as many cards as you want. Easy Apple Pay integration.
Not great for complex stuff like wire transfers, but I can get that done elsewhere.
