Fantastic Game / Buggy App / Zero Customer Support — Boycott It!
I’ve been playing Churchill Solitaire for years, loving it. A complex, addictive game.
A couple of years ago, I noticed a bug: The app started failing to record scores of completed games and retain them in memory. Erasing scores is a big problem for subscribers of a new solvable game each day. Without scores, you don’t know which daily games have defeated you — so you don’t know which games you want to return to.
The kludge solution is to delete the app, then reinstall it. You can keep your subscriptions when you do that — but doing this deletes ALL your scores.
The bug is getting worse. This week I’ve had to delete/reinstall the app twice! That’s crazy!
It takes serious detective work to find a customer-support contact. When you submit a request for support, guess what? No reply.
So not only are they failing to update the app to fix bugs, but they systematically evade the responsibility of customer support. Bad corporate owners, maybe bad people.
I suggest you choose not to download this app. If enough likely players boycott the game, maybe the owners will come to their senses.

Churchill solitaire
I like the difficulty level of this game but am frustrated by little glitches & freezing that sends me back to being a cadet. Also I was ranked as Member of Parliament & couldn't transfer to my new ipad. The freezing up has become worse ... It only allows me to play 1 or 2 games, then nothing happens when I hit continue ... Very frustrating to an otherwise enjoyable game.Show lesspeebers

No app support
I have played this game since day one. The first year or so went fine.... now the game has bugs and there is no one to help you. App support is non existent. I play around the bugs so I can finish the game.... but I am annoyed by it. Don’t really recommend. New subscription games have major bugs!! Never mind trying for a winning streak because when you successfully complete a game... doesn’t give you credit for it. On top of that.... it doesn’t show that you completed the game. Have had to play 3-4 games again to show they were completed successfully. Please fix. Not good for $30/month. Can’t figure out how to purchase ’hints’ or ‘undo’s ‘ after the recent Apple update mandating use of AssistiveTouch. Someone please help. Fun game, okay app, zero for developer team
Ive been playing since this dropped. Almost 2mm points, 4000 games won etc. that includes me uninstalling it for at least 3 years. I can play for hours. It’s engaging as a game.
The fonts and cards have changed a few times (inexplicably). As of Sept 2023, they are legible. If the cards dip below the horizon, you will never be able to see them again. So remember strategically, dont let that happen.
The app team is non responsive. Need help, don’t ask them. Curious about scoring? ditto, forget it. Even if you play the same game over and over, every time is a different score. The scoring is correlated with time to finish, but once at a higher level, only weakly correlated. Ive tested several games by playing them different ways getting different times. Same exact game (theyre numbered) but moving things around differently. So for example, finished number 11 in 5:30, get one score, finished it a different day in 6:20, and got a higher score?! Baffling. Same cards, same deck etc so the only difference was me being slower or less optimal. The points gained for the base game (before bonus points) are different each play. Never mind the bonus points. I havent even tried to decipher those. I play for fun or distraction.Show lessPiratePrincessa

Scores and wins disappear
In the last few months my scores are disappearing in the daily games and I notified them but have gotten no response. The game itself is great, but it seems the developers have lost interest in bug fixes.bionicmum
A great game with lousy tech support
I really like the game. I liked that it showed scores on unwon games and the overall score. A couple of months ago my scores on the daily games disappeared and my total score went wonky up and down for no apparent reason.
I laid out my concerns on the website contact form and not a thing has happened. I really really detest being ignored. Seriously considering giving up on this game.Show lesstdm4803
Problems with Daily Churchill scoring.
I tried to go to app support, guess what, there was no support. This is a good game, the problem is that some bright spark has done something that completely messes up the screen. I’m using iPad Pro and iPhone 14. Sorry to report it here but your support page is not a support page. ———— The above problem has been fixed, so I purchased the Daily Churchill game, unfortunately on the Daily deals screen it has a record of total wins and streaks, having won several games it has not updated this screen to show my successes. Having said that it’s a great game so I’ve upgraded my rating. But I am still unable to find anything on the support pages that allows me to report problems.————
The Daily Churchill games are OK but in addition to the problems above the system does not keep track of your wins. So it is impossible to see what games have been solved.
So purchasing the Daily Churchill is really a waste of time, you may as well play the old games.

I have been playing this game for years then I found out some levels are impossible to win
I have lost all faith in this game. I know it is difficult and that was part of appeal, but I know now that some levels are impossible to win and that has soured the game for me. On deal 282 you get 3 of clubs with a 2 of clubs and ace of clubs behind in the devils six. Making it impossible to win the deal. It then brings into question can you actually win all the other deals.Show lessKr15py33
